I was banded on June 3rd and I am looking for people in the Houston area to talk to for support. Very few people know that I was banded and the ones who do really dont understand. So I am looking for someone who does.

Hey there, I was also banded by Dr. Garth Davis my surgery was 3/6/09. How is everything going for you so far? Have you been to any of the support groups at UGH? I havent but would like to go, I need to find out when the next on is.

Congrats on your surgery!!! I was banded on March 10, 2009. I would be glad to offer any help or just chat if you want. Way to go!!!!

I had surgery on July 30th. The day after surgery was the worst for me. It has been a little better everyday since. I don't really have the urge to eat, but for the first time in a long time I heard my stomache growl. That was exciting for me. I am so worried that when I am able to eat regular food that I am going to overeat, and I don't want that pain. I think that learning to eat again is going to be the hardest part for me.
