My surgeon insisted on staples, too, except for over the biggest incision over the port. Made no sense to me that he would glue a huge incision but staple the little ones!!! Oh, well, it is a done deal now. Mimi -
I take various size pills, including a big vitamin and calcium and have no problems. I am 4 wks out and have no restriction, though. I will have to reassess after I get a fill. Good luck! Mimi

Munger, you have to be at least 100 lbs overwt for Tricare. I don't think you are missing it by much. Find out exactly why they are turning you down, you have the rquisite co morbity. Best wishes. Oh, there are several tricare threads here. -
Jill, thanks for sharing your experience. My fill (first) isn't til Nov 20th, but I have been concerned because my port is right under my incision too, and my area is still tender. Protein Powder Smell

The Syntrax Nectars at GNC/Vitamin Shoppe have very little smell. When I get smelly powders I use a travel mug and put the top on before drinking. This helps some. -
