I take several meds, large and small and they just make me feel full until they dissolve enough in the pouch to pass through into the main stomach. I have pretty good restriction so it takes a while for meds to pass. I take chewable vitamins and calcium and sometimes cut my tylenol into smaller pieces so they will pass faster. The pouch opening can be as small as the eraser on a pencil. Some digestion/melting does take place in the pouch. Mimi

Oh, Mellie, if anyone slapped at you there are a bunch of us that would stick up for you. You absolutely did the right thing getting an unfill. As you found out being overfilled is a miserable way to live and can result in wt gain as youand I and others know first hand. I was already tight and getting dehydrated and then got a diagnosis of gout this morning and had to go for a 1.2cc unfill so I could take the meds w/o hurting my pouch. It has been 4 hours since I barfed and that is a wonderful feeling. Of course now I have to fight gaining wt but at least I won't be barfing for Christmas get togethers. Best of Luck, Mimi
