Like many, my weight had always been problematic, however, throughout the years I learned how to live with me. Being overweight was nothing new as most of my family is overweight. The changing point for me was being a congestive heart failure patient with high blood pressure facing diabetes. I was not signing up for that, so I needed to make some changes. After being on shots and working out nothing seem to help much....let me not forget that I had a thyroidectomy, so my efforts were on the struggle bus. That’s when I decided it’s time...... after careful consideration with ALL my doctors, we decided that the sleeve was the best and safest way to go. as of this day 7/5/22 I am pleased with my progress and getting to re-learn me. I'm only a month out with a lifetime to go but I ready for it. As you read this, don't hesitate to send me questions or share your story. There is so much more to this but if you're like me you don't have to read it all....lol
