    Metformin

That is really strange! I have to crush my Metformin, and if I have to take Darvocet for my headaches, I have to crush those too. The only pills I don't have to crush are my Levoxyl and my BP meds.
  8. I saw that you were also from Houston, TX, and thought that I would send you a Hello!!

    Metformin

My surgeon took my off of Metformin (for PCOS) and Spirnolactone the day of surgery, but when I went for my appt with my endo 3 months later, she put me back on my 1500 mg dosage. My testosterone levels had actually gone up instead of down, so I'm not free of the horse pills (which I have to crush) just yet.
  10. Honestly, my doctor still doesn't know. Let's just say that I seriously doubt that I'll be getting any fills as long as I have this band.

  11. I am glad that you r better.what was the problem

    Band Getting Removed on 11/30

Hi Lisa, I've asked that same question myself. My doctor had just switched over to the Realize band when he did my surgery, so I definitely feel a little guinea-piggish right about now. I guess I'll have to see how this plays out over the next couple months. So awesome to hear from another Houston teacher and mommy!
  13. Hi Headin! I am doing A LOT better! Dr. Davis did the scope procedure on Dec. 1, and he was able to stretch my band out during the process. I had an IMMEDIATE improvement--I can now handle fish and soft foods. I haven't thrown up in almost a month, and I am so thankful for the turnaround. How are you?

  14. Hi, how are things going? Did you have your band removed? Did things totally get better once it was out? I have thought of you often.
