So today makes it my 6 day post op. And I’m just struggling taking the multivitamin. It’s such a struggle for me. I’m having a hard time taking it. Also I’m just all over the place with how much I’m not eating. I’m doing my best to sip sip sip but I’m full full full. I have no appetite for nothing. No craving for anything. I have to force myself to have a protein shakes. I don’t want to be dehydrated. That’s such a fear to go back to the hospital. So I’m pushing myself but truly feel like I’m doing this all wrong. I’m failing at putting it all together. Any advice or anyone feeling the same????

I’m still struggling on making my water and protein goals. I enter reminders in my phone I still don’t make some meals and water intake. I’m also experiencing when I swallow water or food that it hurts going into the stomach. Like it feels like a cramp and then it stops also at times I’ll even burp. Is that dumping?

Thank you

Yes exactly feeling weak. I get so exhausted quickly. I can walk around to the store and I’m tired and I’m sweating as if I walked so much. I believe that I’m definitely not getting enough calories. It’s just so hard for me to still get on a pattern still. Struggling

What I learned on this forum. Everyone has their own experience. You will have your own. I don’t think anyone is alike at all. My surgery took forever. My family was seriously worry. It started at 130pm and got to recovery at 830pm. I stayed In the hospital for 3 days. My doctor came and saw me. I was very well taken care of. I arrived to the hospital like 1030am. Surgery was scheduled at 12pm. I arrived and had to register and check in. Then they had me strip naked and wear hospital robe and put all my stuff away. Struggle at the hospital is making that first urination. I just couldn’t urine laying in bed. I had to use the bathroom. Once I did I was up every 2 hours using the bathroom. I had bunch of machines on me. So it was annoying. Being home so far is putting eating a drinking in order and I’m schedule. I’m still struggling with it. I took two weeks off and I will than be working from home for a month. I will be going into the office afterwards. I packed my phone charger and a change of comfy clothes. Loose clothing you want nothing tight on when u leave to go home. Hope this helps but again you will have your own story and experience best of luck. -
I need to look into these patches. Still struggle. I spent like 30 mins staring the damn vitamins.

If you don’t mind me asking what is the liquid diet???? -
Thank u for the information. 10 years ago I lost 110 pounds so I truly know what I have to do about my eating. But you right I gotta take this as a tool and start anew. With a new stomach and losing the weight I need to and eating right and go on the right path. I do truly hope for the best.

Im new on this app. Im 47 years old and have gained a lot of weight. I had tried soooo many diets and every week was always the beginning of a new diet. I tried so hard to get myself mentally focused on dieting but it was so hard and hard to get the motivation to do it. So about 3 weeks I was at 290 the biggest I have ever been in my life. I had already seen the a doctor about doing surgery. Which I feel like it was my last solution. But TBH I feel like I’m also taking the easy way out. Does anyone feel like that???? Anyhow so two weeks ago I started my pre op. And it’s been so hard just having one meal a day and the other two meals are replaced by a shake. I also get two snacks but It’ sucks. Surgery is June 13th. My insurance approved my surgery too. Which is the great part of it all. I been approved. As I been counting down my days I’m getting more nervous about surgery and I now been losing weight I’m down today at 276. Doctor wants me to be at 270 so I got 10 days to go. I don’t want to mess anything up for surgery but I’m hungry and I been reading some of these posting about afterwards. Some seem scary. But I do hope for the best. Anyone doing surgery this month? How is your pre op going?

June 13th is my surgery. It’s been hard doing the pre op diet but I’m doing it. One meal a day and the other two meals are a shake. I can also have 2 snacks. My main issue is chewing very slow. That is hard to do. 10 more days to go. I was reading that someone is doing the liquid diet? What is that about? -
Thank you guys for the feed back. I imagine after surgery will be Hard I already see that now. I been strict now and getting all my practice in before the real deal. Hoping to be a success story.

Hello. I’m new to this app. My surgery is coming up on June 13th and I’m absolutely nervous and excited at the same time. I been doing the prep op that my doctor wants me on. Replace two of my meals with a protein shake. 2 snacks and the 1 meal. It’s been a journey and hard to be on this prep op diet plan but I’m doing it and counting down my days for surgery.
