    I was scared to death before I had the surgery. 2.5 weeks post-op I can say it was the best decision I ever made. Hang in there - you are doing the right thing.

    Hi everyone. I was banded on July 16th and I am so happy I found this forum. I was 360 in May when I first went to see my doctor for the consult and today I am weighing in at about 315. I feel as though the band has given me my life back. I lost 30 lbs. before the surgery, the rest after the surgery and I feel better and better every day.
