Hi I am always worried about weight gain after my surgery I am 4 months post op , and there's days that go by and I only eat very few calories but all from healthy foods and there is usually one day out of the week that I feel that I m like a little piggy , and I m scared to death to get on the scale the next day but it's CRAZY because instead of gaining any weight I actually usually loose more? Hi I am a patient who on the very same day had my lap band removed after having it for about 15 years and then went straight into having the RNY done at the same exact time, So you were smart to have it taken out months before you go to possibly do this surgery, it was a major game changer from the band to the RNY but there's reasons and at 4 months post op I m actually glad I did it, but wasn't really feeling it in the beginning, I wish you well on this journey Sent from my REVVL V+ 5G using BariatricPal mobile app

I can relate to you as well, it's like the phrase Living to eat, you enjoy your food then, but after Surgery it's that your eating to live and a lot of the yummy food that you used to like now you can't stand, trust me I m 4 months post op RNY and I m still going through this Sent from my REVVL V+ 5G using BariatricPal mobile app
