I have only had one fill and that was in Oct. It was about 5 cc. Don't want or need another one anytime soon. Thank you very much for the complement. I have been trying very hard. Lot's of exercise!! I don't have as much excess skin as I though I would but, I do have some. Lossing 75 lbs you are bound to have some excess skin. Good luck on your journey!!

Hello Karen. I went to Dr. Bagen before I went to the doctor that did my band. Small world. I had my band done May 19th 2008. Doing wonderful. I am stuck right now but, as long as I don't gain over the holidays I will be happy. So far I have lost 72 lbs. How about you?
I go to a support group in Naples. I can give you the info on the next meeting when I get it if you would like.

Almost giving up. Have not had a BMI of 40 for 5 years only 3 :(

I have BCBS and they only required a BMI of 40 or greater for 3 years. You should call them. Just so you know I had to fight for them to pay for my band. But, I was banded May19th 2008 and they paid for 90% of it. So don't give up yet!! Good Luck. -

What about Carnation instant breakfast, sugar-free with a scoop of protein powder? That's what I did. Ask your doctor. -

It took about an hour when they did my band. I took loose fitting clothes and then bathroom stuff. Also take a pair of slippers or flip flops for easy on and off. You should do lots of walking to get the gas out! Good Luck!!! -
It's normal to be freaked out. You are making a good choice by having this done. You will be SO happy you did it. I felt the same way. Good luck!!

Hello. I would like to introduce my self to you all. I was banded May 19th, 2008. I have lost 48 lbs. so far. It has changed my life! I feel so wonderful now. It is so much easier to take care of my 2 beautiful daughters. I am very happy that I found this website. Everyone is so supportive. Thank you all.
