For the love of frickin' pete!!

Ok, ladies and gents. Had my surgery on July 28, 2008 (Best thing to happen to my life, just in case you were wondering). It has been smooth sailing until the last week. Three weeks ago I got a bacterial infection from hell (in my tonsils) and had to go on hyper strong antibiotics. Not sure what happened, but I think I burnt my stomach. Couldn't eat much and my stomach hurt like hell. This week, for some odd reason, all I can think of is food and it is going down a little too easy. I am freakin' terrified that my band has slipped! I may just be having PMS induced hysteria, but I am worried myself into a tizzy. Am I extra hungry cause my band slipped? Is it cause I have PMS and I am just extra hungry? I have a DR appt on the 28 of January. Do I wait till then? I would like to go now, but I am broke!! I don't have time to take off of work and I don't want to lose the money from skipping a day plus it's 300 to have a floroscopy fill so I assume it's gonna be that much! Ahhhhhh! I'm flippin' out. I hope I am just being a dork. Things have just been going so well and I love my band!! AKA Smokey (my port) and the Bandit (my band). I don't want to lose them. I am a stylist (a fab one at that in case you wanted to know:smile:) and missing a day before Christmas causes mass hysteria!! God forbid a mother-in-law see a gray, right?? I don't have time to go all the way to Little Rock. Ahhhh! I'm going to wait until after Christmas and, hopefully, this will have all cleared up. Ok, well thanks for listening to me let it all out!! This is my first blog ever, and most definitely not my last. It feels pretty good to blab!

    Hello from Arkansas

No complaints thus far. He has been great through the whole process. His staff is very knowledgable and helpful. Would I do it again??? Yes, it's the best decision I have ever made.

    Hello from Arkansas

No complications thus far. I was much more uncomfortable than I had planned for about a week after the surgery. No complaints though. I can handle a week of pain as opposed to a lifetime of knee and back pain. Pick your pain.....right??
  7. Hey everyone!! I was banded July 28, 2008 by Dr. Luttrell in Little Rock. Starting weight was 250 and I am now at 215. Just got my third fill and hopefully it will get me through the first of the year. This site has been so helpful in the whole process. Keep up the good advice!!
