28lbs total. 17 since my surgery. I think that's a decent start.

Well today is my first post op appointment. I can't wait to see how much I actually lost.
-
I was worried as well it wasn't until the 6th day after surgery. As my nurse stated you consumed nothing but liquids.
-
I am May 2nd. Sunday is my pureed phase.
-
I was strictly told I could only bring my bipap machine, ID/Insurance card, and a comfortable change of clothes to go home in. Didn't need or use a heating pad protein drinks or a binder. Mine was local.
-
My Dr. had me stop them 1 wk prior
-
I think it was about vitamins. Not taking them 1 week before surgery.
-
Thank you. I hope yours goes just as well.
-
Oh. I was able to start them the day after I got home.
-
Extremely well. Thank you for asking.
-
Why are you taking bariatric vitamins? If you haven't had your surgery?
-
I have BCBS and I buy my own vitamins they're not covered because it's OTC.
-
If you want it bad enough. I never thought I could do it but I focused on the light at the end of the tunnel, which got bigger every day. Good luck 👍

I'm feeling very good. I never had gas which was surprising. My pain was managed very well. 1 week is plenty of time off (office) work. Being on full liquids really opened my food opportunity. I think I am an exception to the rule with how well I am doing.
-
I just took the normal one a day. I had to stop all vitamins and minerals 1 week before surgery. Make sure to get your protein drinks in.
-
Today is 1 week post op for me.
-
Thank you. We're in this together.
-
Awesome good for you. My first full liquid was soupy instant mashed potatoes they were devine, lol. Only about a half cup you will be full. I started it Saturday. Sugar free fudgesicles are extremely delicious too. I'm about 45lbs down from a day before my pre op diet. That was from different scales though. Good luck and enjoy your full liquids. We will get to chew some food in no time.

Today was day one of stage 2 diet. I had a 1/2 cup of tomato basil soup and some soupy instant mashed potatoes. It was spectacular. It's been 3 weeks since I've chewed any food.
-
I added a little powdered bullion to my broth.
-
I haven't had any noticeable gas. I am very surprised. No bowel movement since Sunday but have only been on liquids. Not sure if it's normal or not but feeling better by the day.
-
Had mine on Monday I am doing good. Not much pain except for the biggest hole in my belly. They used glue to close my incisions. Do as your told and you will do well.
-
Had my surgery yesterday. I'm at home now. It takes awhile to get enough liquids down but in the hospital I was given multiple pills to take with minimal water and it was no issue. My Dr. started me on the stage 1 diet until I see him in a few days.

Hope so.
