Hello, I flew 3 days after my surgery and usually fly the next day after a fill. But it might be smart to stay an extra day or two before flying to Egypt. I went to Cuba the day afetr a fill for three weeks and was not able to hold down to much food. I PB a couple of times. So take your time after a fill before going on a vacation for a few weeks. The first fill to me did not give me any restriction at all. But there is a proper process for fill and I hope your doctor follows the proper protocol from the manufacturer...a little fill at a time..... Besos

Hey All, I had my third fill of 1.0 cc on Thursday. This was not as painfull as all of the others. I am now with 7.00 cc in my Vanguard band. I have lost 78lbs since May 9th, 2006. I can tell that I have a better restriction as I had a couple of really bad PBs and slimming over the weekend. Bread is a no no for me. I have moved myself to soups and amost mushies for the next few days as the session with the pb's have made me a liitle sore in my chest. I hope this fill will be my last for many months. I want to lose and get down a total of 100lbs by the New Year....I know I can do it....Just keep on pushing and eating properly...

I burp also...but it is really is low in volume....I wonder what the burp is trying to tell me??

I never feel any difference from morning or evening. I also know I gulp down water with no problem...I think I need more restriction. I also have not lost any weight in two weeks.

hey Boston, I had my surgery there. I do not liv ein the area but I have to go there for fills every few weeks...I might be back there in 3 weeks...

Marz 88, I can eat 2-3+ cups without any problem. I wonder what amount we should eat to be at the optimal fill level? Anyone know?

Terisita, Everything is more visisble and appears to be getting bigger in some places and it seems to be getting a good reception from all... I am looking at the calendar figuring when I should go and get my next fill. Maybe to the states in 3 weeks...If I do not lose 2 more pounds by the end of next week I will go the first week in October....

Totally naked first thing in the morning. One thing as a man doing it naked first thing you have to move other body parts as you wake up at attention..lol

Hey all, I have the Vanaguatrd band and have had 2 fills. the first was 3 cc and the second was 3 cc so I have a total of 6cc. I really only fill the restriction when I eat to fast or something that does not agree with the band. I think I am about due for another fill. I have lost 71 pounds since May 9th, 2006 . I can eat and not fill the restriction. Maybe I stop eating before it gets filled? I am showing good discipline right not to watch what I am eating. Also I do not use big plates. i use the little plate and never reload my food. That smaller plate is a good tool to control food intake also.... How much do you all eat and fill restriction? I have no idea... Thanks...

Hey All, I see everyone has been progressing accordingly. I have been traveling all around the world for work and pleasure and now I am back for a few weeks. I am down for the 20 lb Thanksgiving challenge. I will start to do an extra push today. How is everyone doing ?
