SleepyJean, This is a big step for your new beginning. All will be well and I will be thinking of you tomorrow and all the May 1st people. I just had some ice cream and will have some Chinese food tonight as of tomorrow I have to go on all liquids until I am able to have food again which will be a few weeks away. I have already made my protein drink for breakfast and work tomorrow. I will be drowning myself in the Crystal Light until further notice. As this month comes to a conclusion I feel only happiness towards the venture we are all taking together. How is everyone else feeling? Did all of your pre op shopping?

Wow it is almost May and I wish I had the time to put every " May band Crew" schedule all on on post. I know our month has really grown alot over the past few weeks. Where are all the first week in my banders?

Womanwithin, I am so sorry to read about your situation.I hope that you find a quick solution to the delay issue. Yes, you must keep us all posted and in a couple of weeks I will be able to share my story with you all. Please remain positive and keep trying to lose weight and do not let this take you down.. The Isopure has zero carbs and 50 grams of protein 200 calories and 0 sugars and lots of other vitamins. The carb watchers from Labrada has 43 grams of protein and 230 calories and 12 carbs and vitamins I personally think we will need the beverages that have high protein for healing. We need to get the most protein possible especially post surgery. Both of these products I bought in the powder form...

Well just got back from the store, purchased 3lbs Strawberries n cream Zero carb Isopure Protein and some Dutch Chocolate Lean Body meal replacement shake powder (20 packets)by Labrada. Where I live it cost me 140.00 usd,. I will purchase more when I get to the states but wanted some in the house. I am starting the meal replacement on Monday the 1st!!!! Wow next week this time I will be at the airport on the way to the states. Whoaaaaaaaaaaaa!!

Hello, I am getting banded in Boston as my insurance is paying 100 percent ..I might as well go fo it in the states...Also my insurance company and I were getting terrible service from the offices in Monterrey.

I NEED TO FIND SONE POST OP COMFORTABLE CLOTHES TO WEAR AROUND THE HOUSE AND TO WORK THAT WONT BE TO BINDING. OTHERWISE I AM READY AS ON CAN BE. i DO HAVE A FLIGHT AND A COUPLE OF DAYS IN THE STATES TO BE TOTALLY TUNED IN BEFORE MY SURGERY !! i WILL BUY MY POST OP ITMES IN THE STATES AND GET ALOT OF MAGAZINES!!! IT MIGHT BE NICE IF WE ALL READ THE SAME BOOK WHILE IN OUR OPERATION MONTH...I AM NO WAY AN ADVID READER BUT MAYBE SOME SHORT STORIES AND WE CAN CHAT ABOUT THEM? PEACE AND LOVE

Hey, I am so sorry to hear about your mother. I am also to be banded on May 9th, 2006. I think it is best for you to continue to live and get the band as that is probably what your mother would want. Stick to your plans and dreams and get yourself healthy!!! You are in my thoughts and lets get our band together on May 9th...

Scout, I have never seen the video and maybe I will do it this week. I think it will be interesting. Keep up the walking!!! To tell you the truth I am not sure what I weigh as where i live I can't find a scale that is over the 350 mark. I do have to say that I am a tidy 350+. Most people would never guess I weigh this much....seriously!!!

What is the amount of weight that most "Mayers" want to lose. I want to lose about 200 pounds and that will be about 12 inches off my waist!!! I am focused!!

Angie, I think we are all some what nervous. But we as a team / group will get over these fears as one by one we lay down and receive our bands from May 1-May 31 From ocean to ocean!!!
