    Post Op Stomach Injections

Exactly the same as you with the pain and nausea! I had my first night of side-sleeping last night hopefully you will tonight! I'm healing really well - almost too well, because I can eat lots without feeling any effects! I've had 2 pints of milk, 1 pint of tea, 1 pint of water and 2 pints of chicken soup today with no issue. What are you able to eat/drink?

    Post Op Stomach Injections

We had our surgeries on the same day! I have been a bit lax in doing my tummy injections. You've just reminded me to do mine! My nurse said to change the location of each injection. How are you doing otherwise? How is your sickness, pain and restriction? xxx

    April 2022 Surgery Buddies

Hi all! I had my surgery on Monday 4th April in Manchester, UK. The first 2 days were awful (lots of pain, nausea and vomiting) The 3rd and 4th days were better (threw up for the last time, had some lovely hot showers, pain manageable) The 5th and 6th days have been amazing! (out to cafes and shops, no nausea or pain, even drove for an hour) I am experiencing a brilliant recovery, I think. BUT... I'm worried - only that I can take in much more liquid than I expected. I have just eaten a whole can of strained roast chicken soup with no problem at all. It's far more than the few tablespoons that I hear about other people struggling to get down. I don't feel any restriction or signals that I've had enough. Is that normal, I wonder? Just struck me... maybe I should post on the main site, so people with longer experience can answer! Either way... we are making the best decision by having this surgery. Love and blessings to all of you - if you're anything like me, you won't regret it!
