Oh teebird (lol) thats brilliant news that ur doc is willing to get the ball rolling in september for ur tt i think i told ya when i got home from belgium i got a letter to see surgeon in march next yr i just aint gona wait that long cos i could be told in march theres no funding its great u have such a good doc bet ur thrilled and its a even bigger incentive for u to get down quick as possible... Im still on liquids cant believe iv actually stuck to them lol but im determined to do anything it takes now to get this last stone off before my op now that i have the date booked to see surgeon nerves and fear have taken over i just have to keep reminding myself i want the end result and to get there i need surgery but glad ur doing well hows mark? M was asking for ya i must get her on here x

Yeah she did look good but the scar looked awful but im sure it would fade i was speaking to surgeon on phone he reckons should be a prob getting all done together and i know for me would work out thousands cheaper but god i near cried watching her ready for theatre i know all i spoke about was getting it done but now i have consultation booked and know its possible to have surgery 3wks after im now really scared not even excited but terrified i wonder will i go down a dress size or 2 id need to after going through that id say the band was a walk in the park sick and all as i was this will be torture lol

OMG i just watched those videos gillian told me to im now scared to death i duno if il cope with all that cutting and im getting lipo and my arms done and maybe my boobs il be on the table a good 9hours i think i must be nuts lol

Hey gillian thanks for that must have a look even though i dont know if its wise lol well i have made my appointment for consultation in leeds with Mr Fenton for the 22nd of june and just after booking flights god i get nervous now thinking about it i was told they'l take a blood sample when im there so wont have to get another before op and i could have surgery 3wks after that if i want oh im scared what am i doing to myself lol he said if i have a date to tell them at consultation and they'l work with it shouldnt be a prob so im gona get on my treadmill flat out between now and then gona get the tt and arms done together and im thinking of boobs too if it wasnt much extra duno how il manage i know iv been on bout the surgery but i didnt think it was gona be so quick but i think il get op august sept but as mammy says whats the point in waiting she just wants it all over as she is worried sick about me having it done so i mite go before that gona have to think about dates i think im more worried about missing out bank hols during the summer lol il have to wear a full corset for 6wks and something similar on my arms and maybe a sexy sports bra if i get the twins done too lol so just thought id share that info lol oh and he said even the weight i am now is perfect for op cos im bmi of 29 and anything up to 29 is a good point for surgery and fingers crossed il lose with getting all done oh and im having lipo too and i dont think il be too hungry for a week or so after op wonder will i need a total unfill? Tee bird if u have mash and gravy even with mashed veg and anything thats mashed and a wee bit sloppy u'l be grand as for restriction dont think iv any lol but im still on liquids and scales aint moving but gona get stuck into walking now cos im in a rush to get this weight off M had noodles and stuff last night and some brown bread the bread didnt go down too well

Hi gillian im all excited about it and the way it would pull me in at least it would be a good job and gets rid of lovve handles and everything and i have alot of skin above my belly button its like a extra flap if that makes sense god how sexy do i sound with my droopy bits lol i just looked up flights i know dr fenton does consultation on mondays and fridays i can get flight over on 15th of june for €22 return so gona ring tomorro see if i can get appointment and hopefull have op august/september its actually spire methley hospital bout 10miles from leeds hes in i think least after consult il know if i need to lose much more weight and what he recommends so hopefully for my 26th in october il be all done and just have fun of maintaing which is another story lol but im so glad u think that op is good and have seen it being done cos there aint much info on it on net

Hey galaaxy im from ireland but was banded in belgium if you look up the thread 'anyone know of dr de bruyne chris' its mostly uk bansters we were all banded in belgium by dr chris except one who was banded in spire hospital all the folks on there are brilliant and you'l find loads of info and everyone will answer ur questions i went to belgium for the band the best decision ever i was done 9months ago and 6st 7lbs off it cost €4070 that included op night in hospital 3nights hotel and taxis care was brilliant even though i never drempt id go abroad but dr chris is one of the leading obesity surgeons in europe he comes to various locations in england such as manchester edinbrugh bristol to do fills and consultations every month but defo the band is great but its still very hard work it isnt as easy as i thought i have to watch every bite i put in my mouth i can still eat loads but if u need any help go to that thread even read over it cos u can be guranteed all ur questions will be answered

Hi wishful i got a letter to see a surgeon from nhs on 10th march 2010 i dont think its worth waiting cos i could be told sorry go home or come back in another year i know the surgeon in spire leeds for a tt its £4100 or for the fleur de lis that im thinking of i think it £5300 which i think is so reasonable and arms are £3100 and i know if i get both done together oh im getting lipo too i think it mite work out about 7500 or possibly less as they do procedure packages which works out way way cheaper... Gillian u thik the fleur de lis is good the amount of cutting scares me but least its the full job done i have weight still on my sides and back and the way they pull u together should get rid of all that but sure il see but i defo want it done im sure the scar wil fade im just hoping when i have children i wont completely destroy everything again but sure i dont think il be too worried bout having a perfect flat belly after babys lol

Hey has anyone heard of marcus landauer? I contacted him about plastic surgery he rang me back and explained everything they only deal with uk surgeons who are fully uk qualified and registered and only use private hospitals like spire nuffield etc i just told him i had band and how much weight lost etc he said the top surgeon in this field after weight loss is a doctor fenton in spire leeds he said he can repositon my port and stuff no probs and leeds is a cheaper area than some other spire hospitals but he is the best for me he said by description of my tummy i might be best go for a fleur de lis tt which is the anchor shape u have the incision hip to hip and right up ur middle but it pulls u in and gives a great waist and shape i dread the scar but at least i could wear any clothes but he said they wouldnt know what type i really needed til consultation which is 100pounds with dr fenton himself and if i wanted any further consultations they would be free marcus isnt a sales person or anything but i think an advisor set up by nhs or something he is also a surgeon... I thik i will book a consult for july or august i would really like my op in sept cos il be 26 in october and i would like all done and i defo cant wait for xmas imagine we'l all be buying sexy little numbers also the fleur de lis tt is ment to bring u down a few clothes sizes and imagine i mite even have a waist lol

Yeah bobo well done i know what u mean bout special shops pay a fortune for the clothes and i know when i did they were rags a horrible fit and just over all horrible i dont know myself being able to go shopping with mates and in same shops and im the one doing all the buying mammy said yesterday she loves shopping with me now and loves buying me the stuff cos when i had weight i used to be so wicked trying on stuff and id leave the shop with nothing in a huff cos nothing looked right and the best feeling is i know if i get invited to something its now only a matter of going to town and buying something the day before not searching for a month and still nothing but bet u'l look fab in ur suit and hopefully thats the end of those horrible shops for us x

Well doe bobo bet ur thrilled thats fab you'v done so well with beig on holidays and everything if that was me id be 6lb heavier and thats being kind id have alot more on lol oh and get u getting a suit sorted its little things like that really make a huge difference getting into stuff u couldnt before mammy took me shopping yesterday and bought me loads of clothes and all a 16 even trousers which im thrilled about cos i always said i wanted to be a 16 cos im tall but now i wana be a 14 well 12-14 lol but god its a great feeling hope u get a lovely suit u well deserve it

I know my mate is 32 and she has had her 3kids before 26 the oldest is 16 and she defo wouldnt of done it any other way i think its just cos im losing the weight i wana have a wee bit of time to enjoy it now and i have to find a man too that can be the fun part for me lol... Yeah i spoke to dr chris about tt but i dont think he's the surgeon for me i got a good price in spire hospital in liverpool for tt with lipo arm lift and boob lift for £10250 which i thik is brilliant considering a tt in ireland in a general hospital is €8300 and thats near the cheapest but im going to research northern ireland now and belfast hopefully they will have prices similar to the uk if not i think id go to spire

Hey money they just gave me 2motilum melts leaving hospital also i was gave a few anti biotics as i had slight chest infection but they gave me nothing else i think it was just a real bad reaction to anestetic fred said there are about 10 anesteists (or however u spell it) and they all use a different combo of drugs to put u under and can be different for everyone but i have had several ops and was always great and awake and about in no time but it must just of been a diff combo of meds that i didnt take to to well cos i know there wasnt a bother on the girls last tues i couldnt believe it

Hey money i was extremely sick after the op i was heaving and couldnt stand or walk to far without feeling real faint i needed someone to walk with me the whole time couldnt even be left in bathroom on my own but once i was lying down i was ok

Ah i think il go for another fill with fred even though i think il be in liverpool when hes here next cos it'l cost me a fortune to start changing to wls now and fred said he'd give me fill half price if i need another one so im not too worried yet il stick to liquids for as long as possible then see if i have any restriction when i start to eat again
