Hey i didnt really stick to a pre op bold girl that i am but on plane over i had ham an cheese panini an tea i had a ice cream durin the day and a bacon cheeseburger and fries that nite in hotel lol but frederik said cos im young they wernt too worried bout my pre op they would be more concerned with older clients or very heavy drinkers frederik visited me in hotel that eve to collect the money and have a chat i stayed in campanile hotel in vivoorde most of the patients stay ther its 5mins from hospital and airport a taxi to hospital costs €8 so its cheap DONT stay in central brussels cos a taxi wil cost€50 i went with a package from frederik €4000 for op hotel for 2 people and taxis to and from airport,hotel and hospital so it was great having everything organised for u... as for the day u leave hospital dr chris will see u to discharge u and frederik will come to hotel that evening and check on u its great u should ask dr chris could frederik contact u if the package would be available to u cos it saves so much hassle all u have to worry ur flight oh make sure u are flying into brussels international airport the other airprt in brussels is too far out taxi could cost€150 think thats all haha but ask anything u want to

Hi naomi No no protein shakes just water cuppa soups and juices like ribena and stuff its great no one bit hungry so im happy but yeah defo take baggy bottoms even if u just buy one pair of cheap ones in primark a few sizes bigger than u are it'l be worth it for the comfort coming home i have a lovely black belly at the mo lol but doing well didnt enjoy the first 2days but well worth it... As for pre op i couldnt stick to it at all but frederik said cos im so young it was ok i didnt stick to it they are more concerned with much older peoples liver and people who drink in extreme so dont be too hard on urself oh and if ur staying campanile i recomend the bacon cheeseburger and fries yumyum nice spicy sauce on it lol i had it nite before very nice haha

Ah thanks englishrose im great today dont know myself... I was trying to get my ticker going and near smashed my laptop in frustration lol keeps coming up invalid file i tried following ur instructions u gave angie but still dont know wat code to copy to get it right so i have gave up haha too frustrating for me

Ah thanks kath yeah things can only get better and im feeling good just out of bed went for a wee sleep i get tired quickley since the op but thanks yeah im delighted with the few lb iv lost considering i didnt do much of a pre op but fingers crossed i can get all my weight off but im defo glad to be out of surgery i didnt enoy it at all lol Ursula

Hi angie taxi arrived at hotel at 6.45am well he was actually early and waiting on me so yes everything i was told by frederik went to plan frederik took us to airport yesterday morn... Yes if you just ask him what time he will be there at he visited me the nite before op and the evening i came out of hospital he was very good i must say i have no complaints at all the hotel was very comfy i was very happy with it has a wee kettle in room but i would advise to take a few tea bags or a small jar of coffee with u cos they dont supply much but if u want to ask more questions no probs im on msn if u wana ask there Ursula x

Hi angie im not thinking bout food at all not one bit hungry so cant complain i just managed 130 cals yesterday that was a juice and a peti filous so im trying to get more in today also ice cold Water umm its lovely lol but my pre op was a disaster haha but they say low fat so angie if u can stick to low fat it would be easier to stick to i think doing shakes like slim fast before isnt great well thats doc said cos they are quite high... but yeah day 3after op everthing is good i really just struggled with the nausea an faint feeling i dont think the pain is bad at all i havnt taken any pain relief since i left the hospital just the first 2days after op its very hard to move but today im good able to get in an out of bed no probs so its great but i have a big black belly lol its very bruised but swelling going down but ur day will come before u know it and just done just say in 3days il be feeling back to myself it'l be worth it ursula x

Hi Angie,Naomi and everyone else im home since yesterday an god i thought id never be back home... I must say im pretty good this morn an was good last nite but the day of surgery an the following day i wasnt too good it wasnt really the pain i didnt find it too bad it was the nausea an faint feeling when i got out of bed to the toilet i was extremely weak but other than that it was ok.... And 4days later im good i have weighed myself already lol lol lol but im down 10lb my belly was that swolen icouldnt fit into any clothes i had with me so angie and naomi take the biggest loose fititng stuff with plenty of stretch my mum had to go buy me new stuff... Umm the nite befor surgery i had lovely bacon cheeseburger in hotel with french fries and salad it was yummy lovely spicy sauce i had choc ice cream early in the day and a ham and cheese panini on the plane oh and half a moro lol i must say i didnt stick to my pre op too well an day before surgery i just said feck this and took out... frederick visited me that nite at 10 in hotel i asked him bout my pre op he said i would be ok being so young its in older people who they would be more worried about and people who drink alot.... So yeah its all over and i have to say im glad goin for my fill now in october they come to dub the 1st thurs of the month frederick be's there in the morn as he fly's in the night before an dr chris joins him from dinner time... must say all the hospital staff were brilliant i have such a fear of needles they had them done before i knew it unlike over here i do feel my injections lol.... anyway i have yapped on enough here thanks for the advice from everyone but god im glad im out the other side of banding

Hi angie yeah im leaving for airport at 3am so dont think il sleep tonight and have just started to get some things packed not a bit organised but yeah i got waterproof post op bandages they were €14 for 10 but they are good i used them after my back op i just got 10incase i didnt get right size oh and i got soluble solpadine too... Yeah i got plenty of cuppa soups and juices but just gona take the soups i can buy the juice over there save hauling them over with me so best of luck tomorro angie... ah roe i remember u god time has flown since that day but hope u dont have to pay for a whole new band after spending so much money and hassle over that band but let me know how u get on il be thinking bout u.... ursula x

Hey just a question what can i eat the day before my op which is tomorro woohoo an surgery fri... Also anyone who stayed in campanile hotel is there a kettle in the room just want mam to be able to have a cuppa if she wants and finally do u know howmuch it costs to use internet in hotel was thinking of taking my laptop thanks any info much appreciated oh and angie good luck in dublin tomorro frederik is visiting me in hotel tomorro nite at 10pm when they get back from dublin they better get a good nites sleep before my op:tongue_smilie:Still havnt packed a thing and this time 12 hrs il be on the plane lol going to antwerp tomoro cos my mums mate wants to visit diamondland not that il be buying any my band will be my diamond Ursula

Hi i just met frederik in dublin on 7th of august wont meet dr chris til morn of op as he the day before the op oh my pre op diet well what can i say i lost all of 3lbs i hope il be ok for surgery stil havnt a thing done and im goin thurs morn at 6.50am flight so il be leaving home around half3 oh fingers crossed everything wil go ok just worried bout pre op diet and i am chesty this past week

Hi angie i just read that article in the mail online and read the comments people left some people are plain nasty saying fern britton is still too big and in my opinion i think she has lost more than enough also saying we are more a less pigs oh im so mad after reading it those people must think they are perfect... Anyway i stop giving out now... Only 3more sleeps till i go to belgium or 2really cos with going so early in the morn i dont think il get any sleep my chest still isnt better i hope they can still operate oh id say my liver is a mess i carry all my weight on my top half my spare tyre lol and i wont complain bout getting drunk on so little it will save me a fortune haha

Hi angie Yeah i duno how i feel im all over the place cant believe its here already its mad i never thought the day would come... Yeah cant wait to do the hairdressing im a beautician i love make up lol but id rather work doing hair cos as a beautican in a salon you dont do much make up... Oh i really hope my liver is ok for the op ur so good to have started the diet now really wish i did then i wouldnt be in bad form worrying about it now... cant believe i have such a busy week dublin tomorro and belfast wed and have to leave house around 3.45am thurs morn so these few days are gona fly... I was out last nite 5of my mates all drinking long neck beers i was jst thinking god on a summers day il never be able to have a nice cold beer again i think the no fizz is gona be the hardest thing for me i dont drink much but i do enjoy a session every now and again im 24 who doesnt lol ah well enough about me haha hope ur keeping well Ursula xx

Hi angie Well aint u good started ur pre op diet already as for mine its ok lol i ate some chicken yesterday an thats it thats all im eating really i have bad chest infection at the min im praying for it to be gone in time... Im starting hairdressing in belfast on wedensday the day before i go to belgium so il be wrecked but cant wait when i come back il get my exercise walking from station to it an back every day be at least 5.5miles every day then il be on my feet all day to which will help i cant believe this time next week i shall be leaving the hospital it doesnt feel real i hope i done enough of a pre op diet... Oh an you'l be seeing dr chris on thurs imagine u'l see him before i do lol Oh and naomi hi yeah im nervous as hell im half thinking now what the hell am i doing do i really need to do this i have no probs getting weight off its keeping it off so i know its what i want im just afraid but it'l all be over this day week... Ah thats great u met so many people over there and are in contact with them still great support for ya.. Are they all doing well? Oh i just wish it was tomorro now get it over and done with i just wana be the other side of the op and all to go well

Ah thanks englishrose thank god for u im right at ease now i defo aint gona have (pardon the language) any s*hit before the op think il just eat sensable its just hard i think the thoughts of the op makes it harder haha its a terror how my nerves have taken over i didnt think i would get so nervous ah well has to be done... Oh damm my pre op diet isnt going to plan im very nervous now i have 9days from tomorro til my op i havnt lost a lb but then i havnt been on my best behaviour anyone got advice... Oh and thanks englishrose for saying u can keep ur nickers on i defo wouldnt like to be without them haha

Hey naomi im 24 and im being banded on the 5th of september going over the 4th home the 7th so this day 2weeks il be on my way home im nervous as like u i was ok when i booked it but when i booked my flights an stuff it really felt real and the nerves kicked in big time i want to lose 8stone and like u i have ate all in front of me so much so i think il go on a liquid diet from tomorro till the op im so afraid my liver wont shrink im having slight panic attacks over it i also have to try cut down smoking and its the worst time ever to try and do that lol are u on bebo ar anything?

Ah thats great angie getting to pay deposit at consultation cos them forms bank are tricky to fill out and u need so much info to put on them... Oh il be home from belgium this day 2wks cant beleive it time will fly for me now im just so nervous bout the pre op diet i havnt done much so i think i may go on a liquid diet from tomorro till op im a dope i should have started it earlied im getting all upset now that i havnt im near getting panic attacks over it... Oh i know what u mean by the mirrors in evans haha im not going to buy any new clothes id like to hold out till xmas all i plan buying between now an then is tracksuits i love them and even if they get baggy its ok to wear them like that i cant stop thinking about what il look like and what il wear its so so exciting i havnt cut dwn smoking yet either it has to be the worst time to cut down with nerves and all...
