i mean my oldest will be 20 in oct. he's 19 now. Mommy denial. they grow up so fast. my husband and i were babies having babies, but now we'll be "younger" for having them grown and out of the house.

I'm starting preop diet (ugh) mon. They told me no bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, or beans. I hope that's enough. Reading what a lot of other people had to do, liquids, or just certain things, but I guess diff docs, diff requirements. I'm just scared that if he gets in there and decides not to go through with it, i still have my loan payments..... hopefully it will all be fine. think i'm going to have pizza 1 more time and i don't know what else this weekend, then i'm ready. just want to get it over with already. i'll probably be in the waiting room when you're done with your preop appt. i hope we can meet. i don't know how long it takes though. thanks for the pic comments. people are usually suprised when they find out my age, and that i have 3 boys ages 16,18 and my oldest will be 19 in oct. keep in touch this week as we get ready. what are you going to eat?

What has been the hardest part for you?

2 weeks ago??? How are you feeling? My surgery is 9/29, Dr. Kirshenbaum up in Denver. I'm self pay and he mostly does patients that insurance doesn't cover, was cheaper than down here in springs. what was the hardest part for you? Any tips you have for the week prior? i'm starting to get anxious, just want to get it over with! nice to meet ya

What day are you getting banded? 29th for me. Getting excited. Start my pre op 22nd. No carbs. Wierd how all the docs are different. Congrats on your minus 13 lbs. WOO HOO:thumbup:

Hey! Where've you been? Yes, I'm starting to freak. My loan has funded, and now I'm like, yikes, guess this is really going to happen! Excited though. And nervous. Your dog is so cute. You are too. That's a neat picture. My preop appt is at 1030 I think. When's yours? I'm still not quite sure how to maneuver all around this site. I had stopped drinking soda for awhile, had some yesterday and it wasn't that great. I am happy I can have coffee later if needed. Still going to try and cut down. When are you starting preop diet? There are so many people wanting to do "last hurrah" things I'll probably gain 20 pounds this week. Brother! I'm looking forward to the time off work. The things you have to do for a vacation. ha ha. Is that your baby? How cute! So I'm looking at the calendar.... 25 days from today is the big day! 3 weeks from today is our preop, and that means a little over 2 weeks left of eating whatever. Nothing tastes good anyway. I know I'll be wanting stuff after wards.... What are you doing? I think (right now anyway ha ha) I'm going to try and start making better choices. I'm kind of worried about giving up caffeine when I'm on nights. Thats rough. Did they tell you anything about that? I forgot to ask Dr. K. I understand the soda, carbonation can stretch the pouch... don't want that. But coffee???? Now that I've written a book... Hope to hear from you soon. I have to try to sleep cuz I work tonight. Oops, hit enter b4 I was done. I'm having my surgery 9/29. My loan was approved and I've sent back all documents. They said it takes about 5 days to fund. Then I think this will really happen. Hope you're doing well, send me a note when you can!
