Well it sounds like you are recovering like I did. I had my surgery on August 6th and it was about a week ago that I was finally able to sleep on my stomach. I took my paid meds for well over a week and the doctor had me get a refill just in case. I did try to not take the meds as much but later on in the day I was in a lot of pain. Hopefully it won't take you that long to recover but I wanted to you know that there are a few of us out there that just don't bounce back quickly.

That sounds great....but I just checked their website and it's so sad they are not available in my area

I had no idea where my port was until today when I had my first fill. I did poke around on my tummy trying to figure out where it was with no luck. My fill was done under xray so the doctor could see where the port was. From what my doctor tells me when you still have some weight to lose the port will not be easily found on some people.....but as you lose you will be able to feel it better.

Mine is the same way also....but it still doesn't feel right yet. I was banded August 6th.

Constipation (sorry if TMI, but I have a ?)
Celnun replied to littlefroggy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The MOM is non-cramping. I had to take it and let me tell you it works within a couple of hours. I waited to take it and had a very painful BM....I know TMI but I wish I would have taken it sooner like I was told to. -
I have always been able to see my tummy going up and down in rythm with my heart. And this was before the surgery.....lol. Hopefully the fat will go down and then my heart won't jiggle my tummy.

Surgery August 6th and still in pain....is this normal?
Celnun posted a topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Hi Everyone, I had my surgery on the 6th and I am feeling better than day 1 but I’m still in pain. I rolled onto my stomach last night when I was sleeping (on accident) and woke up to this horrible burning painful sensation in my stomach. Now I am in more pain than I was in yesterday. Has anyone else been in pain for over 2 weeks post op? One more question.....I have to make myself eat because I’m not hungry at all. Is there anyone else out there who has to make themselves eat? -

Surgery August 6th and still in pain....is this normal?

Because it go so late I had to have my doctor paged to call me (I feel really bad about doing that). He said I probably pulled something and that I would be fine. I love how they can diagnose you over the phone without looking at you ... lol. I will be calling the doctors office tomorrow to make an appointment since the pain is getting worse. I wish I could be like all of the pain free people I keep on reading about. Maybe I will be pain free soon :cursing: -

Hello... My name is Celina and I am from the Fort Worth area. My surgery date is August 6tg and I will be starting my liquid diet tomorrow...yay I can't wait . I am starting to get very nervous as the surgery date gets closer. Please let me know if there is anyone out there who is going to have surgery around the same time I am or if there are any fellow lapbanders out there from the DFW area.
