This stage kinda sucks, there is not much to eat and I have no imagination for anything new any ideas???? I eat no fat yogurt, broth, jello, pudding, not many soups cas I'm not doing pureed soup that is just gross 🤢, I have until the end of the month on this diet and it's getting super blah!!!!

So I messed up and bough the delayed release Omeprazole, Is that ok to take after gastric bypass?

Do you take it orally or break it up like that?

Girl, do whatever you want, the negative comments are not not needed so just avoid those as a smoker myself i did start vaping because I was forced to quit but after i was released I got back on cigs and it has not hurt me in the slightest people who are not smokers either vapes or cigs do not understand, Do you and what you feel is best, peoples anxiety is already high from the surgery. And dont worry about the negative comments. Im doing fantastic, my surgery was March 31st and Iv already lost 41 pounds.

Absolutely, you will do just fine, usually knock on wood I don't have issues after surgery, so far so good, this definitely hasn't been a easy road but you will get there, trust me it wasn't rainbows for me either the liquid and pureed stages well hell on me, just have faith in your team.

I'll be 5 wks on Friday, iv had a few things get stuck and it's uncomfortable for about 10 min really stinks, but iv eaten eggs, bacon, sausage, shrimp, crackers, iv even had a piece of thin crust cheese pizza, iv never been regular as far as #2 goes but it's never been pure liquid since the surgery either, your esophagus may need to stretch a little more we all heal differently. But I'm sure it will get better in the coming weeks. Good luck

I can't do beans until next stage, I'm very limited. Different states and different drs have separate plans grrrrr

I can't have that until my final stage cas I can't have cheese yet

I use unflavored protein powder also, pureed texture is just so gross 🤢 I guess Ill have to stick to everything I have been eating.

I got a few baby foods and they just don't taste that great it stinks

The pureed is so nasty I can't do the texture so I'm sticking to yogurt, pudding and broth, and cream soups no chunks

Yes I definitely do almost 2 wks post op the struggle is real

Welcome, this group is amazing, had mine on the 30th and feeling good, aside from the yucky baby food diet lol! You should be at solids now aren't you?

I'm almost a week post op and still have the pain in my chest and a Lil pain still in my abdomen, does this ever go away????
