hello so I've had the lapband for year and a half and although I haven't lost much weight with it I'm still not giving up I do get hungry at nights and there is a supplement called protrim plus have any of u heard it? Well it's a natural supplement u take it before dinner and it expans in your stomach causing you to be full it's pretty much fiber do you think I'm able to take that or will it affect the band causing me to be in pain like if food was stuck? I don't think it would beacuse it goes to ur actual stomach if I can swallow capsules no problem it shouldn't be a problem right since it goes to the stomach ??

Hi everyone hope everyone's had a great weekend me um not so much so on Saturday I got a fill. My doctor also had my xray to see if there was a slip and I'm good he said my band was loose and I already had 7cc in. So we did a .5 fill and then that day I had broth some water little yogurt ok then the next day I had hot tea and few sips on premier protein and that's when **** went south besides me gurgling the whole damn day I'm constantly going to the bathroom and throwing up like spit I couldn't sleep well last night and then try taking care of a 2 year old in the mix of all this. I called my Dr and said I need this fill out he said we only added .5 and u were loose u could of even gotten more in he said I'm super swollen and ontop of all the throwing up makes it more swollen causing the bnd to fit more right he said to hang in there just eat ice chips and what not I mean has anyone one had something similar? Where u thought u need a unfil its to tight then all sudden it gets better and then never needing an unfil? There's a big burp that won't come out and it's like stuck I know the acids are crazy in my stomach since I haven't eaten anything I drink water and it just gurgles I tell my Dr this he says just let's see what happens in another 24 hours I wish there was a 24 adjustment doctor uhh hellp Sent from my DE2118 using BariatricPal mobile app

Hi everyone! I'm a bandster and got my surgery in Jan 2022. I just got a fill today it's my third one I'm now at 6cc in a 10cc band. My doctor told me because I am tight I need to go on a liquid diet. Can anyone tell me is it normal to feel freaking hungry? I've had soup fat free yogurt water idk if it's more mental hunger or what does this mean the fill didn't do a damn thing this just sucks my son's baptism is in July and I want to loose another 15 pounds by then but I feel this fill isn't gonna do it ? But then I figure of course I'm hungry liquids just go right through and that I will really know if it's tight or not once I start solids..... Hey everyone so I got my band tightened last week I've had 4 adjustments well now I am 7cc in a 10cc band I haven't been able to keep any liquids down water yes I can I just can't chug it and then there was one day I just couldn't even eat soup I called and they said give it time it is swollen it will loosen.. then other day I was able to eat soups fine and yogurt. Hi guys I have couple of questions I'm I At 7.5 cc in 10cc band I had my fill a week ago in still doing liquids because I tried thicker and slimed and it was not cool like yesterday I was able to have protein shake a creamy soup I even had a Jamba juice smoothie with extra protein today well diff story I woke up and drank my hot tea which helps loosen the band in my opinion since I'm tighter in the morning and it was all hell I couldn't keep anything down without it gurgling and bothering me I find chewing ice helps the inflammation in stomach from pb or sliming or it coming up whatever u wanna call it have any of u gone threw this my Dr said if. Not having heart burn or cough and able to have those soups yesterday then it's not to night ur just swollen. And the band will fit looser when u loose weight especially cuz we have fat the part the band stays . I lost another 10 lbs after I've platue for longest. Hi guys I couldn't do it anymore. I went back and got an unfil there like are u sure youve already lost 10lbs in a week i said um ya cuz I haven't eaten or drank anything in 2 weeks so they took the whole fill out. So now I'm back to 7cc in a 10cc band. Now I can eat now it's up to me to put the right things in my body to continue to loose weight it felt soooo good to drink water normally before I got it looser it was a sip of water and then it would sit on my chest going down so so so slowly it would take me all day to finish a 20oz water bottle no that's not normal alot is mind over matter few weeks ago I would like binge eat chips at night idk wtf that was about then I had a realization kick in why do that to myself when I went thru agony not being able to keep things down .....suffer lol throwing up. . for what to eat chips and then be stuck at one weight no no no so like movie night last night instead of chips I cut some bell pepper and had 2 with hummus and it was GOOD!

So I thought I'd chime I take liquid vitamins fish oil and I thought I'd try that hair supplement nutrafol goodness is it expensive but anyways I'm almost on my 3rd bottle so almost 3onths and hair isn't coming out in ridiculous clumps I'm the shower don't get me wrong I still shed but it isn't scary when I take out my ponytail instead of 4844838383883 strands of hair on it it's many 3 or 4 so I'm thinking hoping the hair vitamins are kicking in lol damn it's like yay I'm finally loosing weight then wait hold up now I got 3 strands of hair and my hair feels like a broom from the 50s with all I have shed I could make a full head of clip in extensions ha Sent from my BE2025 using BariatricPal mobile app

Hey everyone I had my surgury in Jan of this year my hair is falling out in shedding alot I can tell the difference beacuse my pony tail is so much littler and thinner it's disappointing beacuse I had a hot mess while back from extensions that took out alot of my hair it was just coming back until it's falling out any of u experience this? If so how long did it return to normal I'm taking liquid vitamins omegas b complex and these hair vitamins and using Nioxen shampoo any advice? Sent from my BE2025 using BariatricPal mobile app

Thanks you guys it just sucks to see and ontop of that I've hit a plateau or something beacuse I've stopped loosing and I have no ristriction at all even sometimes when I eat fast or don't chew I don't feel it get stuck anymore and I just had an adjustment last week hopefully I'll start loosing again

Now I could drink water like nothing I don't feel much restriction I am starving and could eat a horse however my Dr told me to go back to a liquid diet for 1 to 2 weeks? Uhhhhh like the eff? How long do I have to wait for yet another fill? Is there a certain time frame? I don't have any motivation so yet another clear stupid liquid diet for 2 weeks I've lost more hair then weight 😂 I need some advice oh and I've read many times the fills don't go in affect for couple of days? I'm confused

Hello I had band January 20 2022 and I was on liquid diet 2 weeks lost weight then it started slowing down as I became more hungry and had no restriction I had my first fill today of 2.5 cc and my doctor said I have to go back on a 2 week clear liquid diet? I cannot do that again I am so hungry I feel no restriction at all ....will I feel any from just a liquid diet? I can gulp water down it doesn't feel tight at all how long do I have to wait to get another fill? What's the ristriction feel like am I getting it messed up from when food gets stuck sometimes and I feel tightness in chest and have to vomit it out
