  2. 3 years has passed since you registered at LapBandTalk! Happy 3rd Anniversary carolhansencar!

  3. Hello,

I have been approved for surgery, finally, it has taken 2 years and my doctor called to tell me in patient's 50+, they must have a cardiac clearance from a cardiologist before scheduling surgery. Well, of course, this is taking another month to schedule and get the results back. Sometimes I think, since it has been such an uphill battle that GOD is trying to tell me something, but then I see a picture of me and I know I must have WLS. Very discouraged and have had all of the time in the world to worry about how effective the band will be, even though I know it is just a tool and we have to make it work for us. Thanks for listening, like you haven't heard this thousands of times.

Keep up the good work! You are definately an inspiration to all who have had bariatric surgery....I am looking forward to when I have lost another 20 pounds.
  5. I had surgery on March 17, 2008. I have gone from 230 pounds down to 198...My clothes are falling off! YAY! I am struggling right now with a plateau...no matter what I do, the scale doesn't budge...I am on medication for constipation and do as much exercise as I can..but I've had DVT, a total knee replacement and my other knee is causing a lot of pain...Does anyone have any suggestions that will help me get back on track? Thanks!
