I’m seriously struggling with the 3 week pre op liquid diet. The shakes we are supposed to drink heat up my throat and it comes out my nose. I’ve been living off of vitamins beef broth jello and water. Is anyone else having issues? Also I have no idea how to find my posts and responses so please be kind if it takes a while to respond lol! Hugs!!!

Good morning, started my slimtime 3 week liquid diet this morning.... it’s going to be tough the stuff makes my throat and stomach feel warm. Anyone else have that feeling? We can do this!!!!!

Lol I am a quick meal type person as well. The clinic I am going to only gave me the option of chocolate or vanilla slim time. But we can add extracts like strawberry or vanilla to make them taste better.

PurpleAngel73, I have spoken with a dietitian about what to eat and they said to follow the normal protocol and to call if I had problems. I was approved for the gastric sleeve so I’m sure your sister would be similar. I still have to do an endoscopy and another ct scan just to make sure they can manoeuvre around a large cyst I have. I also have PCOS. So keep my in your thoughts for the next few tests!

My date is April 8 as well. Not going to lie … I’m terrified! I’m so thankful to have found this group!!!

My first post… my gastric sleeve date is April 8 and I’m really nervous. I also have Crohns and I’m worried I will have issues with the 3 weeks of slim time. anyone have good recipes for slim time? So happy to have found you all!
