Hi Pam, I'm also a Texan, i'm in the Wichita Falls area,My Dr. Warnock requires you to stay all night, and his nurse goes over everything for you, facts you need to know, how long have you had you LB, and are you doing ok
I was taken into surgery at 12:45 and was back home in my own bed...80 miles from hospital...by 5:00. I had no problems and was thrilled to be home so soon. I had the surgery on Wed and returned to work the following Monday. I pray you'll do just fine!
I was banded Aug 6 and have lost 27 lbs since my surgery...still have a puffy tummy but already can tell that I'm gonna like this. I haven't been nauseated or thrown up at all! I did return to work the Monday after my surgery on Wed. and got in lots of walking! Good luck and I hope all is resolved soon.
I have taken both drugs and lost with both....unfortunately I gained it all back plus some! I took phentermine 3 months prior to my banding and have now developed high blood pressure for the first time in my life. Wish I had never take that drug!
It has taken me about 2 months from my first seminar at the dr.s office. We have Tricare Prime South. My husband has not been approved...he has sleep apnea and diabetes and it is taking a little longer. I did not have to have the psyche visit or the dietician or anything else. My surgery is August 6...I'm really excited!
