I know you feel bad about the 20 lbs. But I'm sorry. In my eyes you've a accomplished such a great deal. If you can loose 150 lbs then I have faith in you (and I don't even know you) that you'll kick ass ( excuse my French) when it comes to the rest of your weight loss. Wow! But if you really feel like being nice then I would get something that him and his staff would enjoy. I agree with another poster... don't make it so personal. I work in a medical clinic. What we would receive from other offices was a canister of popcorn. We have a well known place that sells great tasting popcorn in different flavors. The canister of choice would be decorated in a Holiday theme and filled with cinnamon, cheese, carmel, or plain popcorn in dividers. Yummy the best. So if you're in a giving mood make sure it's a present that everyone can enjoy at his practice. :cursing:

I feel you on this subject. My thinking exactly because if I give my Surgeon a gift then I guess I would have to give my Doctor, my son's Doctor, my Dentist, and let's not forget my Lawyer. LOL :cursing:

Hey... Don't feel bad. I'm a sipper too when it comes to meals. I know that it's against the rules. But that is a habit that is hard to break. I have family that can do it without a second thought...but me I'm always craving something cold and sweet to drink with my meal.:cursing:

Good for you... and please if you have any concerns during your journey make sure you address them to your doctor and don't wait for the concern to spin out of control. That's the best advice I can give you. Good luck in your new journey :eek:

I was getting ready to say the same thing. I accidently went and posted on a negative thread not to long ago not realizing it's purpose for being there was to complain about the band. Oh brother! I went through some mess on that thread. That was a mistake that I will not repeat again. My advice if you're that close to not having the surgery than maybe you should address your concerns or ask more question. I feel if you go into this with a negative attitude you'll make it hard on yourself. It's like you're setting the Lap Band up for faliure. I wouldn't listen to the negative threads on here but what I would do is make sure you have educated yourself on the pros and cons of being a bandster and that you make sure that your ready to face both the positive and negative possibilities. :tongue: I wish you much luck.

You know they had a thread about this very subject on the Plastic surgery post or it could have been from this post. All I know is I never thought about the appearance of my vajayjay being altered before I read that post. I guess because my big gut always obstructed my view of it... But my husband told me it's just fine.

Ok LuLuc I'm disagreeing with you on this one. Because I still say it maybe a natural response to what your body is experiencing. Now when you say the junk being touch are you talking about a slight graze because that can happen or a full hands on massaging the butt or other body parts. If the full hands on is the case than of course that's cheating especially if you allow it to proceed and not get up and smack the hell out of the masseuse. If it happens like the first part where it's just an accidental graze then no I don't think so I beleive the body experiences the greatest pleasure through touching and feeling and it automatically responds to such manipulation whether it relaxes you are arouses you.:thumbdown:
