I think she's planning on doing some ringing around to suss Sydney clinic's out today. I really, really want to help her find a way to do this. I'm almost a month post op myself, was banded here in Melbourne on August 1st. It's been THE best thing I could've done. I did what you suggested, took out health insurance, waited the 12 months but got the ball rolling whilst waiting. Thanks again for your help Leeanne.

Hi all, I'm Shell. I'm being banded by Mr Gary Crosthwaite at The Avenue, Windsor next Friday (Aug 1st). I'm not long home from my last pre-op appointment and was rapt to jump on the scales and find out that I've lost 5.5kg in the two weeks since I was last at the clinic. That added to the 4.5kg I'd lost in the 6 weeks previous makes me an awesome 10kg lighter. I started the Optifast on July 1st although didn't need to start them til the 11th. I figured that I'd give myself a full month on them to give myself the best start to this road to the new me. Shell
