My husband and i went to Mercy Bariatric in 2008 but his employer turned us down for the surger. Then my husband got laid off and we took the cobra. Apparently cobra is different because we got told they covered it. So we started out journey of doing what all we had to to get the surgery. Then we got our letters in the mail they approved my husband and denied mine saying i hadnt gone all 3 months of the nutrition class...but i went all three months with my husband, so mercy fought for me and i was approved. So on Dec 28th we had all our blood work and ultasound, and xrays done, and then on Jan 6th we had our endoscopy done. Then they called and said hey do u want to go on Jan 27, 2010 and i said omg yes lol. Husband has to wait till the end of Feb cause we have to get his blood sugars down more. I am so excited i cant wait to be come the new me.
