However, as I have often said about paying 10k for my band - it was about the same as buying a cheap car, but the best investment ever. Anyway, got the financial information for those of you interested in getting your fills from Dr. Georgescu: initial consult/evaluation fee $75 fills $50 9351 Grant Street, Suite 400 (this is just north of North Suburban Medical Center, I-25 and Thornton Pkwy) Thornton, CO 80229 303-452-0059 He does the fills himself. Dee, I have seen him do fills numerous times, and I would say they are patient driven. He asks how they are feeling, if they are in the red/yellow/green zone, hungry between meals, etc., then fills and has them drink water, just like Dr. K did, then adds or subtracts as needed. He does not to barium/fluoro unless there is a problem, and then those are done at the hospital. Any other questions, just let me know.

Hi Everybody! I couldn't find the "Considering Dr. K thread" on here...it is because we all have been so delinquent in posting! So everybody come on, post and give us all an update on how you are doing!!! I am almost 3 years out now, and have 5 annoying lbs to go. Couldn't be happier with having the band. My birthday is Sunday, and I am walking my first 10k, so wish me luck. Red Robin night anybody??? Planning ahead, next month is insane. How about Sunday 9/11 at 7pm?
