She also verified what I could back in my bag since I might be there 1-3 days. She said my dermatology ointments i should bring in case because hard for them to get that right away if I have a skin reaction. I'm bringing my tablet also to watch some stuff or play games if my insomnia kicks in. Unless they give me the good stuff I can sleep, peacefully. It's a shame they have to take your vitals every couple of hours waking you up. Pricking my finger since I'm diabetic too. How are you doing today? Don't be that nervous, you got this! Just check in, get registered, when they bring you to your room put 2 gowns on front & back; you don't want your booty showing while you walking the hallways later. Gotta get that gas Out! Make sure you have some good veins to put the in in on the first try. Mine are tiny and they always miss it several times and I get those black/blue/red blotches on my arms. They always need an ultrasound to find my veins in the hospital. Last time I was there in error for 2 hours they couldn't find it and had to put in my neck with a little procedure with a doctor and staff. Uggghhh... tell put in near your hand/wrist best place is left if your right handed. We will continue to talk this weekend. Fill out a health directive too before you go there, must always be prepared. Bring your covid shot card too. If you haven't had your shots then better call them quickly on that protocol. -

I've had a person from hospital call to verify information on Tuesday. Today another from hospital called to verify all my medications I take & if I had any questions. I asked her can I control the temperature in my room or not. Last time I was there in 2018 for gallbladder removal it took 7 days in a regular room. Then a month later I got food poisoning and was in icu for another 7 days. It was freezing in both areas and was happy could turn up the heat. When I talked to hospital nurse she said she had 2 sweaters on and a heater and wasn't sure about temperature being controlled in room or not. I asked a few more questions about the 26 page packet the doctor gave me. She said she's never seen one from a doctor and will visit me & make a copy. LOL.πππ I'm one day away from my clear liquid diet only. I ordered a bunch of stuff from Walmart to have delivered tomorrow morning for my 2 week post op diet. -

I was a bit bummed out last week. I had to start my liquid diet on thec14th and my birthday was the 17th. So no cake or dinner for me for the 1st ever in my life; booooo diet. I didn't want to wait but I should've scheduled February. I was scared this new strain of covid might get worst and close the hospital`s from non evasive surgeries. -

Have you watched videos of the procedure on you tube yet? I've also watched many different women at hospital right b4 surgery & many post op. Many have given great advice what to expect. My worry is Dumping syndrome & Dehydration. I've always had constipation so thats not much of a worry. Many said the gas pain after surgery can be cumbersome. Some talked about Flatulence is very bad for rest of life afterwards lol. I know I will have scars from the laparoscopic procedure. I have bad tissue damage in my stomach said my dr. He also did a egd for me back in June 2021. -

I go this Friday for mine. I'm not really nervous that much. They told me comparable to my gallbladder removal i had in 2018 & I had a hysterectomy back in 2007. I've had 2 c-sections too & had in 2006 cosmetic surgery for a tummy tuck & liposuction & breast implants which was extremely painful under the muscle! I was so crazy back then LL Cool J had a concert and I refused to miss it since was in 2nd row. Me, my pillow and sister went. Horrible chest pain you cannot even imagine me sitting there suffering!π₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ί I endured extreme pain so I can handle this one LoL!
