Thank you all for your feedback and comments. It's reassuring to hear that I seem to be on track. I definately think that it is time for me to get another fill to jump start the weight loss again but am happy with the progress that I have made so far. Thanks again!!

Its been about four months since I had my lap-band surgery done and I have lost 25 - 30 pounds so far. I am wondering what the "norm" or average weight loss is at this stage in the game. I feel like I should have lost more weight by now but am unsure if I have unrealistic expectations. Please help me by providing feedback on what your journey has been like. I appreciate any feedback you guys provide!

I'm from Hawaii but haven't been banded yet. Did you get your surgery in Hawaii, by who? I'm wanting to have the surgery in Hawaii but am a little worried about finding a doctor to do it here.

Has anyone done or knows someone who has done their surgery in Hawaii? If so, who was their doctor and how was the experience with him/her? Any information would be helpful!

I am looking into getting banded but have my reservations about doing it right now. My husband and I want to have a baby soon but I am not sure how safe or unsafe it is to become pregnant soon after getting banded. I have read that you should wait at least a year but has anyone gotten pregnant soon after getting their band? If so, how did your pregnancy go? I appreciate any help I can get!:smile2:
