Hey guys!!! April ~ so glad to see you are feeling better! Remember, there is more room outside than there is in! Crazy~ WTG! Congrats! Well, I have been 100% compliant with my CPAP so Dr. Schmitt has released me for my surgery! That was the last piece of this long puzzle I have been waiting on. NOW, I get my date, go to the nut. class, and then my support group meeting. Say a BIG prayer for me! -

AMEN Sister! For us folks, it was horrible. I told my kids that if I had to do it all over again, I would. I would be more outspoken and not let my weight or size effect me like I did. I'm just grateful that I am in a position now to where I can do something about it.

See, PE did not work for me either. The short shorts that they didn't make for "husky" girls, the tight t-shirts....I was active and could do everything but the outfits were horrible. High school period was horrible!

That is wonderful! That is what I am hoping for, a stronger, closer relationship with my husband. I am doing this first and foremost for me ~ but I want to be able to do things with my husband that I have never been able to before (in bed) :tongue2: I am so EXCITED! I mailed in the smart card from my CPAP so hopefully my ENT will release me so I can get a surgery date. I can't wait to starting living my life like I want to.

You know what Florida Pete.... I am right there with ya. I was always a chubby kid and when I got older, had 2 kids I lost 64 lbs doing nothing but counting calories and exercising - ALL THE TIME. That was back in 1998 - I was down to about 180 and that is the thininst I have ever been. Now, I'm looking forward to keeping it off. I still have not received my surgery date but I'm getting closer!

I saw in Wal Mart the other night a BIG jug of Whey protein. I have heard that it was a good powder to mix with. Please let us know how you do - I'm anxious to hear!! -

OH HOW NEAT! We just moved to Warrior from Center Point back in March. What abouts in Hayden do you live? I car pool with a girl from Hayden and we meet up at the park and ride right there off the exit. It just goes to show you who you will run into on here. You know, I never thought about Jello getting sweeter everytime you eat it ~ but if that is all you can eat, I can see that happening. I am just 6 days away from getting my last dr's release! That's cute!! A girl I work with is like that...she has very curly hair and she said that after her lap band, she's thinking about getting it straightened! That's gonna look funny.. -

That is horrible! I cut all of my hair off just so my face wouldn't look so fat and round! I'm thinking about letting it grow out since I'm having the surgery!
