Hi ya'll! I'm back from Florida and had a wonderful time! My dh had a trade show and I spent a little time there but mostly having some R&R time READING! I got home this afternoon and looked at my calender and realized that my pre-op appointment is THIS Friday!!! I had a :eek: moment! I will say that my knee did better with the walking that I did more than anytime lately...that was encouraging! I THINK I have the list updated... Hi! I'm sorry you had a sad moment...I'm sure I'll have several before this is over! About your security "blanket", maybe take a class in something? I was just thinking about a friend of mine who went through a divorce and threw herself into everything to stay positive--it worked! (and eventually she had to slow down) She joined support groups, saw a therapist, took up contra dancing, joined a hiking club, and started participating in 5k walks for charities. Glad you are feeling better!

I think he NEEDED to go home...and the progress he made while home is amazing! He definitely was retaining Fluid and I think that should have been talked about at the weigh in instead of making it look like he'd cheated somehow. I've seen patients gain up to 15 lbs in a DAY from retaining fluid. If the show ended today, I would be happy knowing how well he did Healthwise after going home. My dh was watching with me and he has many health problems and, I think, feels he can't exercise, etc... I think the show encouraged him but we'll see. I loved the relationship he had with his daughter. ~~anne

Unjury's strawberry sorbet failed my taste test! I even tried it mixed with lemonade...ugh. The smell is strong and it didn't seem to matter that I used a portable coffee mug with a lid...I could still smell it. Just my 2 cents. ~~anne
