I also got banded on July 23rd! Today is the 28th and I feel pretty good. I still can not bend over and have some difficulty getting out of bed, but other than that, I feel pretty good.
I am on liquid still for three weeks before I start puree food. I am drinking chicken broth, Water, and Protein shakes. I got a book with all sorts of protein recipes in it. I also am eating low carb yogurt, sugar free pudding and Jello.
I am having a hard time getting my protein in because I get full and then do not drink for a while.
I have lost 12 pounds since the 23rd. Good luck and I hope you get better soon!
