Zoloft Tablets make me extremely sick Post op .. any idea what I should do ?

Do Get the medication in wafer form .my daughter takes olanserpine not sure of spelling and after sleeve had to go on wafer tablets because the stomach could not absorb the pill form hope you come right with it. It's a wafer not in gel form it's dry and flat just like the tablet but dissolve under the tongue -

Hi I don't know of many people with the protein problem but my daughter is in the same position as your mother her blood level for protein is almost non exciting her bariatric surgeon has told it is because she hS malabsorption but at the same time she is allergic to protein where as I hD the bypass and have fat malabsorption I am also 69yrs lost 70kg my daughter had the sleeve In Australia we have a group on Facebook for the over 50 people maybe she should look at and even join it hope this helps abit

I am 2 yrs post gastric bypass I have had similar issue re flatulence ect it turns out to be fat malabsorption I battled for ages until I started taking probotics which have helped alot I can't take tablets so use the powder form maybe give it a try you never know it may work to help you a bit and you can start feeling a bit well nothing worse then feeling like that I hope you get results sooner rather than later -

Hi Mil I feel for you my daughter has eds so I know what you going through she has had the sleeve done and loosing her weight very slowly I had the bypass 2yrs ago and have regained about 8lbs it's hard to stop the gain but I guess we need to move back to the basic things we did in the beginning hope you get lots of advice and encouragement Jan e t -
Don't give up increase your protein and water I have lost 68kg and am maintaining now as soon as I see changes in my weight I up my protein and water try it and see if it helps

I had this in the beginning saw int who told it was due to my rapid weight loss and it would stable it self out I am 14months post gastric by pass and it has settled down my bmi is 23 -

Hi i am not sure this will help you at all but my daughter has it as well the only thing that works for her is a compounding medication that the pharmacy makes up its called sodiumcromoglycate capsules 100mg she has to have them before she eats the only problem is we are in australia but you never know it may be of some help speak to your immunologist -
I had RNY a year ago and strangle enough my enzymes also went up don't know why as not on meds do have low thyroid and take those medications having more tests next week
