SF Fudgsicles - yummy! They have been saving me from buying and eating everything chocolate in sight lately! I never used to crave chocolate and lately, well, it is all I want!
-
It sounds like you may have done more than bruise it! You might want to go have it checked out just for peace of mind. Hope you are feeling better soon!
-
I would be a bit leary! I make sure I do all of my internet fun stuff from home - just safer that way. We do have lunch that is off duty - however, I always have a ton of kids in my room, but I do sometimes check in and do some craigslisting during that time during the day. My addiction for FB will have to go on hold when school starts back up!

I tried to go to the pool today and there were at least 4 people in each line. Too busy for me! I will head out for a run later! I could swallow my pills, but I had to open up (time release) my ADHD med and sprinkle it on applesauce the first 6mos. Now I can swallow it and have not had any problems!

Mac~ Sorry to hear that the knee is bothering you! No fun. Hopefully you can get back out there today! I took yesterday off and went to swim early this morning. Every lane had at least 4 people in it! WTH! It is always quiet in the mornings, you maybe have to share a lane with 1 other person. I bagged it, too busy for me. I think i will go for a run this evening. I need to do something. I always feel weird when I have a free day.

This summer has been bad! We finally got wireless internet at the house and I swear that at any given time almost everyone of us is on the internet. Sad, very sad! Of course, here I am. I could be outside in the hot sun slaving away at yard work - nah, I'd rather be here!
-
I have found myself very addicted to FB - it just sucks you in and won't let go! It will totally suck when I have to go back to work (teacher) and we don't have access during the day - I might just die!
-
The grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence. I do feel blessed to have my DH and kids! But I can still look!

We must be sending the same vibe!:huh2:

I guess if you are paying him to work and he is working that is a good thing! KC is just lucky - she is a hottie magnet!

Reposting. I have done the WW Online several times. They just love taking my money! Lose, gain back more, lose, gain back more. Of course that was the old me! It is a great program with tons of support. You have access to a huge database of foods (points), recipes, and menu ideas. I really loved having access on my phone so that I could know where I was at during the day, kept me honest (most of the time) :smile2:

Okay, that is the second time that the site has "eaten" my post! Argh!

How can a Sketchers store, not have Shape Ups. Weird! That would be the one place you would count on being able to try them on. You would think that retail managers would have products in stock that people are looking for. That always floors me when you go in a place and they are always sold out of an item, yet they refuse to purchase more of it. If they had more in stock they would sell more - HELLO! Okay, I am done!

Edel~ Congrats on your one year! Keep up the good work. It is so amazing to me that we are at one year all ready! It really did go by so fast when you think back on it.

GA~ Glad to hear that the headaches are coming further apart. Sorry about the meds making you swell up. Hopefully you will be done with it soon and be feeling better so you can start running again. Suzanne~ No fun with the foot. Crossing fingers that you don't have to have surgery!

Try to stick in there. It looks like you are still new to your band and I am not sure how many fills you have had. This could be part of the reason you are losing slowly still, because you don't have good restriction yet. This is a great thread to get ideas on what to eat. Make sure you are weighing and measuring your food and getting in your water. Follow the rules that your doc gave you, that is something that will really help get you to your goal. It can be frustrating at times. I was on a 4, close to 5, month plateau and I just started losing again. Luluc gives good advice about mixing up your calories and exercise. That is something that got my weight loss going again. You can't eat the same thing and do the same exercise every day - you need to mix it up so your body doesn't settle into a rhythm. Stick with this, it can be slow going, but you can do it!

Oh, hot pink! Love it. I am out of my contract next summer, and we also will have AT&T starting in Jan, I, want an iPhone. I love my Blackberry but I hear the iPhone is way better! Yummy! Drunk posting - nice! You are too funny! Glad you posted the "cure" for hangovers! I can't believe they would think of charging him for cutting the watermelon - that is ridiculous! People are stupid!!! If you get a chance you should watch Gran Torino - it is a great movie! Yeah! What she said! We had a heck of a storm last night and they are supposed to continue through the rest of the week! It was one of the most amazing lightening storms I have ever seen! Of course we had high winds and then got another torrential (sp) rain, but I don't have to water today, so that is nice. Doesn't look like it started any fires - which is a good thing! DH has the day off, so we are heading out to one of the parks for a hike later this afternoon - no running, just hiking. I am also going to go dorm shopping with DD, if she gets her lazy fanny out of bed! Hope you all have a great day!

Ebony~ Yeah! Glad that you are enjoying your jog/running. It has been so great for me - I love it! During the winter, make sure you get some yak-trax for the ice. I use them during the winter so that I can run on the snow and ice. I have found that I really like winter running better - not so hot! I can layer up, head out and go. I am sure that we have a much milder winter, but I was running on days that it was 25 out with no problems at all. Keep up the good work! Find your 5K and get signed up - the first one will get you motivated for the 2nd! -
yesterday~ b: 1/2 banana, smear of peanut butter s: trail mix l: 10 tortilla chips, bean dip, co-jack, salsa d: 2 grilled shrimp, 1/4 of small salad (went out to dinner, shrimp was rubbery - ick!) s: slice of ham, tbs. crm cheese, slice of dill pickle, sf fudgsicle

Michelle~ So glad that DD loved the ponies! How fun is that! Sorry to hear about the migraine and cramps - no fun for you! Sounds like you had fun, but I know it is always nice to get home! Slim~ I think I might have to bust out and make some mojitos, everybody seems to be loving them! I will have to go back and find the recipe - man, that was pages ago! Maybe it would be easier to look it up online! Watching Gran Torino with DH, the kids are out of the house - ah, quiet!
-
I think it would be fun to start a group and get some challenges up and going again. We were doing some in the C25K, but it has been pretty quiet there since summer began. Did you start a group yet? I have not done anything like that before, but I would love to join in - it is great motivation! My Nike id is: krtork.

KC~ Love my Nike+! I use it in my Nike's and I also use a pouch on my trail shoes, since they are Mizunos. I have not had any problems with the pouch that I bought. It is secure on my shoes, does not move around and the sensor is also secure inside.
