People with insulin problems as you put it, are usually caught early on due to symptoms and diagnostic testing, I was trying to be helpful and want making an assumption. I too have a glandular problem, However, that accompanied with an eating disorder helped with weight gain. Good luck to you!

    Hello

I feel the same way. Its really something that has to be worked at, and staying motivated is VERY DIFFICULT. Buy some motivational books and magazines, set a goal for yourself and just do it. Hormones play a big part too..what about another fill?
  6. A lot of surgeons will have their stats on their website. Of course like you said, the AMOUNT of lapbands performed is first and foremost, you also want someone somewhat close to you, for fills and other issues.

I feel your pain. It is a slow process, I always think to myself, How many years did it take to put the weight on? it wont be that quick coming off unfortunately. Maybe you need to increase your exercise?...i find that to usually help. Good luck to you!...

    2nd Fill woes-Too Tight!!!

I had a fill....then 8 months later, suddenly couldnt keep water down, was definitely dehydrated. When I called MY doctors office the covering PA said, "well you waited 6 days before calling, whats the urgency now?"...and I paid CASH for my procedure. NO SPECIAL TREATMENT FOR ME THERE!..unreal!
  9. GOOD FOR YOU...I WAS BANDED IN NJ $20,000.00 LATER...and the FILLS are extra! Do you believe that?
