Spinoza, firstly, I would like to really thank you for creating this conversation and keeping our November 2021 cohort together! Truly, you are the best! It really helps us to see where we are and compare our own progress to others! Kudos to you! And I am soooo happy to hear about your progress!!! I saw your numbers, and they are so incredible! In my case, I am still only 8 pounds from my goal weight, and believe or not, I can’t get it in the last 8 months. On a positive side - I am not really restricting myself on anything. I was relying on my usual smaller portions thinking that’s enough. I am not gaining any weight, but I still didn’t get my goal. Honestly, I know that if I be more strict on my diet, I will get there easily. But I think I am not ready of another “dieting”, I am still tired of it from my previous life! Nevertheless, I am soooo extremely happy with my current life!!! So far, this surgery was one of the best decision of my life! I look great and I feel great! I really hope that all of our buddies share such happiness!

Yeees!!! So happy for you!!! I am in a very similar situation - just 5 pounds away from my goal, taking vacations, barely limiting myself on anything, and enjoying life IN FULL!!! Agree with 100% - this surgery was the best decision I ever made! Congrats to us, we did it!

Thank you! my doctor recommends the same. And I have no problem weighing food at home, but it’s hard to do when I am out of town. I agree, watching the volume of the food would make more sense! I am just afraid to stretch my stomach by feeling less restrictions, it is scary!

Hello everyone! Happy to see that you are doing well! My surgery was on November 24, I lost 57 lb, which is 70% of my weight loss goal. Felling great, no issues at all. I had couple stalls, the last one was almost three weeks long. Last week I noticed that I can eat bigger portions of solid foods without feeling restrictions. Do you guys feel less restrictions too? How much of solid food can you eat at once, like one cup or less?

Hello, I am new here, had my gastric sleeve surgery on November 23rd, in Florida. I am glad I found this forum, it answers o lot of questions. Like majority of you were saying, the first 24 hours after surgery were extremely painful, but now is my day 4, and the first day without any pain meds. I started the full liquid phase today with protein shakes and blended thin soup. My stomach is grumbling a lot, however, feels like I am a little hungry. I drink o lot of fluids and clear protein drinks. Any of you guys were feeling hungry shortly after the surgery?
