You had major surgery recently. Your alway dehydrated and staving your body in a sense. It will take several month to feel good. Honestly, the first 6 were hell. The next 3 weren't as bad, and the last 3 were somewhat closer to normal. Your body is never going to be "normal" again. There are going to be many days where you will question yourself on why you did this and other days when you look in the mirror and you know why it's not the easy way out. But, it is worth it in the end, I promise! Sent from my SM-N975U using BariatricPal mobile app

Headaches after Bypass Surgery

The headache is from lack of caffeine, electrolytes and sugar. Try drinking G2 Gatorade. It is 1/2 the amount of sugar but your body needs some to function at this point. Drink it slowly and you can try diluting with water if needed. Sent from my SM-N975U using BariatricPal mobile app -
Headaches after Bypass Surgery

Regular water is really acidic. If it's bothering your stomach, try switching to alkaline water. You can find it in the stores. Smart water makes it, its in the black bottle. There are other companies as well. It is more expensive than Regular water but it is let acidic and will not hurt your stomach. You can sometimes find it in the gallon jugs as well. If this is an ongoing issue with your stomach and water, you can find pH drops on Amazon and add them to your regular water and do it that way. It's a lot cheaper in the long run. Did your doctor not give you a diet to follow? You really should be eating bland, liquid food right now. 9 weeks post op, there is really nothing at Christmas you should be eating other than mashed potatoes and some sugar free jello. Sent from my SM-N975U using BariatricPal mobile app

At 9 days post op...you really should be eating eggs. You should really only be on liquids. That's probably why you are struggling so much. Some doctors rush eating too soon, those that go slower with introducing food back in seem to do a lot better. Sent from my SM-N975U using BariatricPal mobile app
