I had Lapband surgery in Nov. 2007. Was 305 lbs. Had a lot of problems throughout the whole lapband process. In August 2011 I spoke to my surgoen and we decided to do a conversion from the Lapband to the Gastric Sleeve. It was the best decision I have ever made. I had a lot of scar tissue from the lapband which was complicating my success. The Sleeve is so much better and the weight loss has been so successful for me.
