  1. Happy Birthday msnycia2u!

  2. Happy 39th Birthday msnycia2u!

  3. at 6am i drank a protein shake, at 9am i had 1 egg at noon I had either a lunch/3oz of food, at 3pm i had either a protien shake or jello, at 6pm i ate my last and final meal, 3oz of meat or salad or something like that. and at 9 pm i had a protein shake in between the day i consumed 16oz of water every hour. I started the first tiem at 260 and made it down to 190. Now i started at 255 & im at 230

  4. Whatever you do! SLOW DOWN! i generally pass out fast asleep when that would happen.

I will tell you this. If you follow the diet to a T and i mean to the letter. You can probably lose 3-5 lbs a week but you can not deviate from the menu. The first time i had the surgery i was super committed and I ate three times a day, and drank 150 oz of water a day. and i was on a 5 & 1 schedule

  5. I am glad to hear that you are doing better too! I don't know how I would handle having to have my band redone.... scares me. I found out what it feels like to eat too fast the other day.. IT WAS NOT GOOD AT ALL!!! I did not purge, but MAN OH MAN.. did I want to.. I just walked it off and held my ground.. what a scary feeling. Not going to do that again.. too much pain.

  6. Things are going okay for me I guess.. I was told to only loose 1 to 2 pounds a week and that seems to be what is going on.. I am trying REALLY HARD to do as I am supposed to, but it seems the devil likes to mess with my head. I had some cookies that I ended up giving to my one son, cause it was too much of a temptation and I was going to them as a snack instead of good stuff.

  7. I had problems with my first band but i am willing to admit that most of them where self-inflicted. I learned how to get food in and then i would eat until i purged, to which i think that helped contribute to my slippage. but then again alot of people who were banded in 2007 had to be rebanded 4 years later.

  8. hey StewsHunnyBunny, I hope all is well with your surgery! My band is going great so far but so easy to fall back into old habits. I am learning that this is definitely a mind of matter process. I hope my desire to be healthy will over weigh my desire to be FULL. How is your eating? I am a very picky eater and soft foods is killing me because i only eat mashed potatoes and green beans.

  9. Hope things are going good for ya!! :)

  10. i weigh 242 now i went down to 190 then had the band removed and went back to 242 since August of last year. Thanks. I am just scared trying to see if weight loss is successful during rebanding
  11. Have you had your new band put in? I get rebanded on August 31, 2011. I was just wondering how the rebanding process has been.
  12. 3 years has passed since you registered at LapBandTalk! Happy 3rd Anniversary msnycia2u!

  13. Girl, I feel you. My story was kinda different i was the small girl 125-130, then i got on the depo gained 200 lbs, i have been trying since 1996 to lose it never did so i decided i was going to be fat. My husband started cheating on me, i went to prison and got my life back, but i was still fat so i dealt with self-esteem from being that size 6-8 to being a 22-24. I decided to get banded in March of 07 I was 250 lbs i am now down to 205 and found a wonderful man!!!! I am getting married in 10 days but i went up in age he is 46 ( i am 34)and is the best thing other than my children to ever happen to me! So believe me it gets greater later!
