Hey all! What a fantastic job y'all have done!!!!!!! I was feeling pretty good about my 42 pounds, but wow! y'all are awsome. I had a lot of pb'ing on my 2nd fill, I'm still learning about smaller bites, (the hard way). I think I also have that first bite syndrome as well. I'm conquering it, and once I do, I think I'll be ready for a 3rd fill. I've been doing lots of exercising, weights, and walking and jogging. I do about 4-5 miles a day, 5-6 days. Hopefully that will keep my weight loss going. My kids have noticed, no comments from folks at work, I haven't seen my parents, they're out-of-state, but I keep in touch with my mom on the phone and she knows about my progress, can't wait for her to see me. No one else, nothing, zilch. Oh well, I'll just keep plugging. NSV, out of 22-24 and into 14's, and none of my bra's fit. Everyone keep of the good work! Y'all are such an inspiration!

oneflew replied to bullit143's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Hey Bullit, I don't know if I've slipped and am not experiencing those problems, but I really feel for you, and thought maybe bumping this might help get some answers for you. It sure sounds like you were going through a lot of stress. Hang in there. Samantha -

Gee, I just read this, I'm looking into the slipped threads. I don't have any idea, but just thought it needed to be bumped so that maybe you would get a response. Good luck and congrats on your new blessing! Samantha -

Fun Poll - Female Celebrity Skinny
oneflew replied to Telly's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I'd have to pick Angelina. Of course, I started liking Angelina when I had a crush on Billie Bob. I know, I know, but I just thought he was it. 'Course, now I'm into Matthew McConahee. (sp). -
Teresita, I changed my user name, from samanthatx to oneflew. (after reading about being able to google and pull up all your posts, I wanted something without my name in it. a little paranoid i know lol). I'm not sure where I'm off. But I started first weight in at 217. as of monday 26, I was down to 204. Total 13. Sorry for the confusion! And thanks for keeping everything updated for us! sam

Hey Sarge, down 1 lb. Still haven't figured out why my weeks aren't meshing. No telling what I did. I need my butt kicked, because I don't think you can count taking the kids to the pool and watching them frolic, or leisurely strolls walking the dogs a few times a day as exercise. :0 I'm trying to think less about food, and not be so obsessed with it. On a personal note my life has been going through upheaval, (divorce finalized few weeks ago and have been in process of moving, so not fun, it hurts.lol) Hopefully things will stabilize. Heres to picking up the exercise this week, I'll just have to get up verrrry early as in Austin, it's 102 today. Yikes!!!! OOOORRRRRAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!
-
Hey Sarge, lost .5... But I seem to have my calculations off somehow, as now I'm 209, started was at 217???, hmmmm. Not sure what I've done. But think I need to kick up the exercise.

Feed back on Bajanor Obesity Clinic in Mexico
oneflew replied to Yasmin's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
Hey Yasmin, just thought I'd give you my take. I was banded 033106 at Bajanor. It's a tiny little place. Everyone was very nice. I've had no problems with anything, and my fill Dr I'm using locally said that my incisions, (sp) looked great. I went by myself and that was kind of scary. I would have liked a little more attention afterwards and felt a little clueless on things like when they take me to the hotel, and back to the airport. Overall I had a good experience, though. There are several others here that had surgery there. I'm not sure the links, but search previous threads and you should be able to find it. Hope that helps a little. Good luck and pm me if you have any other questions! -
Hey Sarge, lost 2 lbs. Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day! Very hard coming back to work this am.

Way to go Molly! Keep up the awesome work!

Hey Michelle, I wonder why they wouldnt have you do liquids for at least a day? Anyway, I was just recently filled, (may 16) so I'm very new at that, but I've heard that sometimes people won't feel the effects for 2 wks from a fill. I would wait that time to allow your body to make adjustments. Also if your doc is going out of town right after if you have a 2nd fill at 3 then that may not be good if you have any complications or need a possible refill. Hope that helps. Best of luck!
