    I had Bypass on Monday. Left the hospital yesterday (Thursday evening). Had a lot of trouble swallowing and holding broth and jello down, along with stomach bloating and cramping. Finally was able to hold down a 1/4 cup of broth and a sugar free outshine popsicle at 3am. Will try protein drinks next.

    Doing pre-op registration and testing right now. Roux-n-Y bypass is Monday the 15th. Tik-Tock! This is happening faster than I expected.

    I have an endoscopy on Thursday, Nov 4th. Should be able to schedule surgery after that. Hoping for November. Dr. Bilton in Tuscaloosa.

    Greetings all: Just signed up. I had my pre-op class this week. Have an endoscopy scheduled for next week and I'm waiting on more medical records. Then, pre-op labs and scheduling. I may get on the surgeon's calendar before 15 November. I'm a 65 year old male living in the land of the Rolling Tide! I'll spend more time on this forum in the next few days and weeks but wanted to say hello for now. SandyShores
