I am so sorry to here that u r having such a hard time with ur insurance, But b-fore my husband had uhc we had bc/bs and let me say i went thru the same crap. All i can say is that bc/bs needs to work on there requirements :thumbs_down:. You have a few option?s you can start seeing a dietician for 6 months if you feel that this procedure is what you really want, or you can gather all of your medical records and call bc/bs and see what u can do to speed up the process. My dr.?s office didn?t have to do any thing for me or I can politely say they took there sweet time on getting me approved. I had to call the insurance companies myself and spoke to the supervisor or any one of higher priority to see how I could expedite my process, they told me to call back every week and guess what I called back every week until they told me that the approval letter has been mailed out. You can start doing your own research. Remember God didn?t bring you this far to let u down, don?t give up the fight.:biggrin:
