I'm about a week post-op and whenever I go to the bathroom I feel faint and go to sleep for 30 minutes or an hour before then wake up in a rush to go. I passed the mental health evaluation beforehand, but now I feel like I'm really depressed. I can't focus on anything, and I feel really bummed out all the time. I make my friends and family sad when I talk to them. My therapist and husband just tell me to think about all the good things I have going for me, but nothing helps. On top of everything else, I have a new job, and the stress of that is making everything worse. I don't really know what to do. I threw up for the first time after surgery. I just got cleared to take my vitamins and as soon as I got this down it came back up within seconds. Any other brand suggestions? I was excited to get it until my Mom said "What if you die?" Now I can't stop crying because I'm terrified of anesthesia. Does anyone have advice for dealing with thoughts like this.
