Oh ye Julie its time to make new friends!! as someone here on LBT told me we develop and we also change friends as we change,truly said it wasnt my choice but I think its right:-) Actually since Im "not friends" with her Im seeing lots more people!! so theres something positive:-)

hey Susan, I know where you come from, you are right that I should ditch him.But for the second point how would I feel, I can tell you that I would feel bad if I knew, she didnt know and she never found out. On the other hand if it wasnt me it would have been some other girl... I know its not an excuse but Im just trying to explain... Also we both were aware that he isnt going to leave her, and I wouldnt even ask for that.

Hello, my doc told me its a lifelong. Newband I really have had bad pain while getting up or sitting but its because I was trying to get up like I was used to.When I was in the hospital the nurse thaught me how to get up after surgery. and also the beds that we have home are much lower than the ones in hospitals, and higher bed helps with standing up.The pan had been fading for like 5-6 days and afterwards I was even able to sleep on my tummy. Dont worry the pain will go away.

Hi girls, although Im not supposed to get on scales for another 2 weeks I cheated today and finally the scales moved one pound down!!!! after almost a month yepeeeee

my friend liked me as long as I was fat because then I wasnt a threat to her...I guess. Im meeting her next week but Im not sure what Im going to tell her, I expect her to apologize but Im afraid shes not that type...oh well I friends change as we all grow up:-)

you know what I lost my friend (I considered her to be my best friend) through my weightloss.she started to act strangely and then hit on the same guy (and slept with him) that I have been flirting with the whole night. I was upset and told her that and she told me that she feels we are always competing (but thats not true we never hit on the same guy in the past and I was happy for her when something nice happened to her) apparently she felt that way cause shes older by 8years, I make the same money she does and Im losing weight which she isnt. Before that happened my mom told me that she is afraid that Stepanka might envy me, I looked at her like she is crazy and told her that Stepanka would never ever do that. Oh well one month later she did it. She also cancelled our vacation (it was already paid) telling me she wants to go to friends wedding, then she came up with George michaels concert I told her its a bullsh** and she agreed. really we literally knew everything about one other but now its all gone. Maybe I will be able to trust her again but right now I dont want to deal with it anymore...isnt it sad arent we supposed to get new friends and since the old friends liked us before they are supposed to like us even after weight loss?? I have changed only phycially not mentally...its just so sad

Hi Josephine, I have perosnall trainer as well.Truly said my weight loss stopped after one month but I can see my body is more firm and Im finally getting to that womanly shape. I see it on my clothes also my friends and family sees it. My weight havent moved down in like a month but hang in there. I have that scale that measures fat and water but truly said Im still getting the same numbers although at my doc office the fat % is dropping down, so unless you can weight yourself on medical and professional scale I woudlnt care what it says at home or in the gym. My doc has some hardcore scale and it was specially designed to show BMI and fat and water % You can probably find it somewhere but they usually want you to pay for it. Why dont you start measuring yourself instead of weighting? I know its easier said than done because Im addicted to the scale:-) lol I must say that hiring the perosnal trainer has been the best decision I have made since getting my lap band. hang in there you will see the results in no time:-) xx Eva

Hello everybody, ok yesterday I saw my ex...he wasnt really my boyfriend I would say lover cause he has family...ok I know its bad as it is,but its always 50/50 and I think he also could have been more responsible, cause he has a family and I dont. Ok so in Dec.06 we broke up and said to stay friends. Since then we saw each other once and just for a coffee.But damn we have such huge chemistry its killing me. We broke up after 9months cause he realised he loved me and was afraid to hurt his family etc. So yesterday when walking home he had to stop his car cause the tram was coming and I was infront of my appartment building.we were like 20feet from each other, he saw me and I saw him but I pretended not to see him.But he was there sitting in his mercedes in black suit that I know and he looks so damn hot in it:-( I was thinking about sending him a sms (since we are friends and we contact each other from time to time) but I didnt do it yesterday so do you think that I should write him? He is the type that doesnt write back to much and if he does it takes him few days...or should I wait if he writes me? Or finally get over him and forget him, which is though to do cause he lives like one block from me. I must admitt that if he wasnt taken I think he would have been the perfect guy for me, older than me 33,tall, witty,self confident but not stuck up,and he can take good care of himself (successful) and he is more dominant than I am (not in sexual way) cause I need a man not a boy and lately I feel its hard to find. I hate when the guy worships me and he will let me do whatever I want even bad things and then he just forgives me anything... Sorry for writing such a long post:-) But I would really love to hear your opinions, although deep down I know that this "realtionship" is bad for me and wont go anywhere:-(

Oh that happened to me as well the stitches were pokin through my tshirt :-) but I was too afraid to do anything about it.I think its better to wait for your doc to do it!:-)

Sheila:Oh I had big troubles with being good with food, although once I was approved and knew the date and was told that I have to lose some weight prior to surgery I started losing miraculously...lolDont worry the band WILL let you know if he doesnt like something,e.g. from time to time I eat to much and then its sitting there and I dont feel good.Also knowing that I have the band and that I could possibly damage it with wrong food choices and overeating that helps me to prevent it a lot.I do have some slips of course but far from how many I had before banding...I was bulimic but without throwing up...dont know how you call that. you are losing like crazy and you even dont have the band so you are going to do just great!! Dont worry:-) Tracy:thank you so so much for your positive response:-)But its all you guys that make me talk and look like this.All your support coming from you is changing me tremendously(mantally and physically).Im more confident and I finally know my price:-)Thank you:-)

Kat I know what you are talking about and I meant the same thing :-)) I guess my English:-) and I asked specifically if they are going to sew the upper and lower part of stomach together and they said that they dont use this method:-) but band is still in and ok (knock on wood:-)

Hi Sheila, Im 25 and got my band at 24 if there was this possibility when I was 20 I would have done it in a heartbeat.Why to lose the best years of your youth cause you are obese. Hey tell your mom that almost all April bandits that are still active in the LBT have lost over 50pounds!!! yes its a tool so you need to be disciplined.if you believe that you will be then go for it and dont care about what your mom says, its your life!! I support you with all my heart!

Hi Im one year post op and dont have any fill.I have good restriction. In November I got one fill just 1cc in my 10cc band and got stuck so badly that they have to unfill me plus do the upper Gstroscopy.As long as Im losing I dont want a fill:-)

Hi Letha, and everybody Im just one year after banding, but what I know for sure I dont have the stitches around my band.I asked my doc if Im gonna have them and he said no.Maybe thats why I had to wait so long to get my first fill (they want the band to overgrow with tissue) to be in the right place. Letha I hope that you and your band are going to be fine!!

Wootsie I totally agree that both lenght and width are important...lol Chrispy thank you for the compliment. I just hope that I wont be too picky and finally meet someone who likes me and I like him. Im seeing hot American guy on Wednesday, but he is in love with my friend,she is beuatiful and skinny:-(but she doesnt want him.I liked him from the first moment I met him at a bar where we were with my friend.Oh well I cant do anything about it,at least we get together every once a while and I can practise my English:-)But damn he is cute and tall,dark blond hair,bit big not fat but definitely not skinny...

Hello Terry:-) I know that there are lots of Czcechs in Texas I've heard that you even have Czech schools:-) Oh I love kolaches!!! they are the best but with the band you wont be able to eat much of it cause it can get stuck:-(not badly but its uncomfortable. Klobaski are good as well but its too much fat although from time to time I have some:-) I love our bread its the best:-)and I missed it so much when I studied in the US.Now I dont eat it that much anymore cause again it gets stuck:-( So your parents are from Czechoslovakia? hey Boo:-) I just told myself I cant eat chocolate and when I eat it then only till 2p.m. and at that time I usually have no cravings for it:-)) But if I have chocolate then only the one with high percentage of cocoa (over 56%), its good but not as good as normal milky chocolate:-)so you wonnt eat 3oz of it:-)

Hey Kristi and Susan, yes its hard overhere.The guys are just different and even the internet meeting suck,I really didnt like anyone I met over the internet:-( Now Im trying to go out with my friends whom I dont see that often cause they usually know some different people. Yesterday when I was going back to Prague by train, opposite to me was sitting one guy but totally not my type,but he was after me,trying to look to my eyes etc...I also went to a party on Friday and one guy was hitting on me,but evidently he was married, so I didint go there also not my type... I will try to meet a lot of new people we will see whats going to happen.truly said I really want someone to cuddle with and walk around in the centre of Prague at night(so romantic:-) the spring is here,I look much better and no guy in sight???bad...

I would also suggest church, but one of the worst guys I ever dated I met at church Joan it made me laugh:-)) yep its pretty bad here but oh well I guess I just wait to meet the right one.hm I tried the internet dating, but either Im too picky or the guys are just psychos:-) no really I know Im picky but blame me that I want the best for myself...lol
