I put a scoop of collagen in my coffee every morning, and I feel like it's made a difference in my skin and hair. I slacked off on using it for a month or so and feel like my skin looked noticeably "saggier". My hair regrowth has been fantastic, my hair was on the thin side before my surgery but it's now growing back thick and oddly, curly! In addition to the collagen, I take a pretty big dose of Biotin alongside my Multivitamin (6000 mcg) and that seems to be helping.

The burst of confidence you get after your surgery may be the final push to exit this unhealthy relationship and start living the life you want. I don't think surgery ruins healthy relationships but it definitely can give people the final bit of gumption they need to leave an unhealthy one.
This guy sounds like a menace and you need to get out of there. Don't wait until it turns physical if it hasn't already.

To be honest I hate protein...it's my least favorite thing I have to eat. I do a lot of egg white scrambles and Protein bars. I just really don't like meat very much.

Neither of those drugs is going to "end obesity" when obesity can be a symptom of poor economic status and they cost almost $2000 a month in some cases. Maybe ending obesity for the wealthy but for the average person you see in Walmart? No.

Just a warning with this: if you drink too much liquid, do not go lie down immediately. This is how I ended up waking up coughing on stomach acid a month after my surgery.

Yes. Between the hormone changes, less fat in your diet, and the changes in your hydration patterns, it'll be dry. I started "slugging" my face at night and it seems to be helping (which is where you put a thick, heavy moisturizer over your serums and treatments to "seal" them in while you're sleeping...it helps your active products work better and keeps your skin moisturized). I also swear by Nivea Creme and Aquaphor for below the neck.
Make sure you're getting hydrated and taking collagen/hyaurlonic acid seems to be helping too.

I don't currently have any partially because I took them out before my surgery 2 years ago and some of them closed while I was under!! Over the years I've had my nose, navel, and countless configurations in my ears.
I sometimes miss my nose ring and would like to get it done again.
If you do, please please go to a professional, certified piercer and not to the mall or some other place that uses a "piercing gun." Don't get gold or silver in a fresh piercing; titanium or surgical steel only!

Could be Water weight, could be hormones, could be the day of the week, could just be...your turn to have a minor setback. You'll have some fluctuation here and there and as you lose more and the weight loss slows, you may notice it more. This is not a "failure" and it's destructive to frame it that way to yourself. It's part of the process. It's going to be ok. Don't beat yourself up. Don't sabotage yourself. Just keep going.

It has helped me tremendously on my journey to think of anything with calories as food, even if it's a liquid. Water, sugar free sports drinks, plain tea, black coffee, etc are beverages. Milk, juice, etc, in my world are Snacks and are treated and logged as such.

these may not be appropriate at early stages, but I really like the La Banderita Carb Counter street taco tortillas...they're tiny (as you might imagine, the size of a street taco, maybe 5 in round), but they're only 20 calories and I don't think any net carbs. I make little quesadillas, Breakfast tacos, put mozzarella and turkey pepperoni inside and dip them in pizza sauce, etc.

You might be suprised...I always thought I was "big boned" but apparently I was hiding a really small frame underneath all that.

Gold and silver are softer and therefore more porous on a microscopic level, and can "pit", meaning bacteria or other irritants can cling to them. They can also flake off into the open wound, and are more reactive with body fluids. They're generally fine for a healed piercing (which can take a few weeks to several months depending on what kind of piercing it is), but because they're not as hard and non-reactive as something like surgical steel or titanium.
I worked, unfortunately, at a Claire's in a mall for several years when I was in college, and I know that stores like that push gold as being "safer" when really it is "more profitable". I had nothing but problems with piercings done in gold with a piercing gun. I have since gotten SEVERAL more piercings done with a single-use hollow needle at a piercing parlor, and have had none of the same issues.
The right establishment should almost feel like a medical office.

I regretted the surgery HARD at where you are. I was miserable. Now, I'd do it again in a heartbeat even remembering the misery.
The only way out is through. Stay strong, stay the course, know that other people have experienced exactly what you are now and you are not alone. I know it's maybe one of the most difficult things you've ever done (it was for me).
It's going to be OK. You'll get through this.

The veggie egg bites from Dunkin are also excellent if you ever find yourself somewhere there is no Starbucks. Similar calorie count, too.

I got an answer within 10 days when mine was submitted in 2021. I had to do 3 months of supervised diet. I think my out of pocket was something to the tune of about $175 for the actual procedure.

Mine was coming out in HANDFULS. About month 2 after my procedure I got deathly ill with pneumonia and wasn't able to eat much for several months. My Hair loss was BAD. I've since been diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder and I lose hair again every time I have a flare-up mostly because it makes it so I can't eat. I just keep it short now, no reason to try to grow it out and end up heartbroken again.
