I wasnt nervous at all mind you didn't have time was waiting a while for surgery thought I wasnt going to get it until I got a phone call the end of July telling me my date was 23rd August had loads of test done iron infusion and then I was in hospital and everything was fine now 12weeks out 45lb lighter and loving it I had the milk and yoghurt diet for two weeks and did well so good luck to you all having surgery

I finally got to see a Dietician yesterday I'm 45lbs down from Aug 23rd gastric bypass feeling great and cant wait to lose more he said it seems I doing everything ok

Come from Merseyside in between Manchester and Liverpool, in 2010 never lost much wait I had to do cbt the 3year lifestyle diet and got a phone call the day before my birthday which is the 30th july saying start your milk diet I had surgery 23rd Aug just trying different foods and 44lbs down and feeling great all done on the NHS this time I had a bypass at Stoke hospital they couldn't do enough for me please go to your doctor and ask don't be embarrassed and you'll be on the road to having your OP hopefully

Hi I'd been waiting for my OP for a couple of years had two pre ops and then covid hit so that was another year and a half wait and on the 28th of July got a phone call they was doing my OP 23rd August so everything was a rush to get bloods done an iron infusion to get to the hospital in the morning for 7.30 then the surgeon came up to tell me I might no have it done because he needed an assistant anyway 10 minutes later I had surgery the next day I thought what have I done to myself 10 weeks post OP and I feel brilliant not sure how much I've lost till the end of November but I will let you all know -

I'm also on this it taste terrible

I got lactalose 10 mils twice a day but one day I took to much because I was that bad never had it since though hahaha

My surgery was August 23rd not seen anyone yet and I wont buy scales all you do is weigh yourself all the time it's off putting not sure what I've lost yet but gone down about 3to 4 sizes in y clothes got a email with a date to see Dietician next week within a hour had another one the end of November now but still feeling good hope you all are well -
CPAP on Surgery Day

I took mine and came round from surgery withit hooked up to the air at the side of the bed because my sats kept dropping down so they hooked it uptoy CPAP machine -
I had the sleeve11yrs ago I lost 3 stone I had it done in Macclesfield the Dietician wasn't much help put 21/2 stone back on with being on pregabalin had my bypass 23rd August this year I had regret the day after but now I'm fine I had mine done on the NHS in Stoke I've not seen anyone yet but had phone calls to see how I'm doing I know the weight is coming off but don't know how much I've lost yet will let everyone know as soon as I do sending hugs to you all

Hi all I had my bypass 23rd August they phoned me up on 29th July to say I had to have pre OP and then start my liquid diet I had it done at stoke university hospital and only had a phone call to see if ì was doing ok so finally got in touch with the Dietician this week who didn't know were I'd be having my follow ups done then got a call back to say I was under a different hospital so have to wait till Monday to phone to see what stage I should be at I've just been doing the 2nd stage any advice will do hope your all keeping well

Hi I'm new on here had my bypass on the 23rd August and I've just gone on the second stage which is pure and smooth texture , I had my surgery at Stoke university I had to have 3 pints of milk a day 2 50grm pots of yoghurt and tea and coffee I cooked all my other halfs meals and it didn't bother me one bit I've only just got sorted out with a Dietician but now finally know what I'm doing good luck to you all who are having or waiting for the op

Finally I got in touch with the hospital I'm under and now awaiting a appointment the Dietician explained everything to me so now I'm sorted thank you all for your feedback
