Wow, was thinking about the October thread but wow, was away for a week and you guys are already on the 3rd page thread, congrats!!!!! I haven't been posting much lately but still hanging around. I am doing fine and trying to cope with it all, although it isn't always easy with my travelling. HIya there, yes I got told I had a really large, fatty liver when I had my op, was disappointed as I had meticulously followed the pre-op diet, would be interested also to know more about this Cheers!!!!!

It would be nice for a state funeral, but family comes first and they are more important now.........................so the state funeral is definitely off then?

I thought he was great anyway, but was in Los Angeles when it happened and it played non-stop on most news channels, he was big, probably more out of his own country, I think he deserves a state funeral. Still can't believe it, he felt the barb go in and pulled it out, then went unconscious and it was only the camera man who saw bllod, stopped filming and raised the alarm......... I have to start this thread I am sorry, it is a great loss for many of us down in OZ and NZ, personaly I was awake at 4.30 when it hit headlines CNN, I didn't belive at first, I am gutted now, cannot believe what has hapenned he is an icon, sate funeral should be !!!!! Sorry but this is aan amazing, big loss for Australia:cry

Steve Irwin, our crocodile hunter passed away tragically less than two days ago, please share in our grief, a great family, 2 kids 2 and 8! I was devasted when I found out, I think out kiwi and Ozzie friends need some support, personnally I am gutted, where do you go from here~:eek:

From NZ, or deepest sympathy, totally shocked, thoughts wih the family..........you will get thousands of letters, but you are a tragic loss to OZ NATURE, WE love you!!!!

Croc Hunter had a great wife totally together and great, beautiful children, he was filming for her when it happened, from NZ we loved you all.............still stunned!!!

I wish there was some way to send our condolences, if there is let us know. They were such a lovely family, truly soulmates, that is what breaks my heart, do you think he will get a state funeral, he deserves it. Yes I am shock, if anyone wnat to talk to me about it PM me!!!XXXX Amourette :cry

I found out on the Cnn news 4.30 Sunday and thought they MUST have the wrong person, I am grieved as my father passed away two year ago and I haven't greived, I am taking his loss in the work rather badly.........he hd a great wife and BEATIFUL kids.......what does anyone else feel, I am totally stunned.......... am back down here in NZ, it is sooooo sad

Well being in front of you all geographically thought I would have to start September off, but thanx to Picardy for that, had to leave challenge there for someone to take!!! I hacve been on 7 day trip so couldn't even access a computer at all. I was sooooo ill 3 or 4 days after surgery, I couldn't leave the pukebowl literally, had to call a doctor to the house, it was awful and I hope I never experience anything like it, he gave me meds for anti-nausea and although slightly sick the next day, never had it like that again.............is this the medication he has already given you, I hope you push at them, 'cos you don't have to be suffering like that Good luck! hello all, wow, I feel it was just yesterday I was pushing the July talk, unfortunately I was away for most of that month, sorry for the lack of talk from this end, I was on my sisters computer and didn't want her knowing what was happening my end, yes call that mad perhaps. anyway I am stalking you all, going to look on the weight loss thread and track you all down so write soon, I am good in this part of the world, had another fill, only only liquids againl so will have to check this fill isn't too aggresive for me Waiting to hear from you all I will keep bumping if I dont' hear from you Love Amourette!!!!:confused:

From my work trip, yes to many it won't sound like one, 2 nites Fiji Islands, 1 night Los Angeles, 36 hours Western Samoa, but I am glad to be home as it means being away from my family for 8 days........couldn't get on a computer this week, so glad to see our thread is going strong, although damn it is nearly another month gone by again!!!!! For those who don't know me I am a flight attendant for my national airline, it has proved interesting having this op and the social barriers I have to face. Most of our hotels have buffets, or crew go out drinking and eating a lot. I find myself a lot tighter on flights, with an average flight day lasting 10 hours plus for me, it is only soups and protein shakes on these days............I PB a lot on board, but I think this is part of the learning process. I am pleased with my progress, have dropped 2 dress sizes, people sometimes say something, but I was thinking after reading a few answers above, that people don't like to say things sometimes as weight is so personal. well my week is going well...........oops not much exercise, but try tomorrow, hehehe I promise Love Amourette!!!
