  1. No I chew every bite really well, and at this point, one bite is all I eat because it’s so uncomfortable. I’m taking Prilosec because it feels like heart burn but the Prilosec does nothing. And after some time, that one bite of food settles and the sensation stops until my next bit of food or water.
  2. Everything I swallow, water, pills, food… I hardly eat because it’s so uncomfortable. I have never had a problem with heart burn ever in my life. I take Prilosec but the pain still happens.
  3. As the title says, I had my VSG surgery about 3 months ago. I’m barely eating anything because when I eat it’s so uncomfortable. I chew my food extremely well, I don’t drink liquids 30 minutes before or after eating… I follow all the rules. But every time I eat I feel like I have to burp and I never can. It’s very uncomfortable. I do not over eat at all. In fact I’m eating less than I should just because I dread the discomfort. I’ve tried taking gas-x and it just makes me want to burp more but I still can’t.
  4. As the title says, I’ve developed pain that is not sharp, not dull, just nagging coming from under my left shoulder blade. It’s gotten worse in the past few days, I don’t have gas, I am bloated Because I’m about to start my period. I have just started a new birth control. I’m also well hydrated.
  5. So as the title says, I love the taste of whey isolate. But it makes me feel nauseated and extremely bloated. I also need to avoid dairy as it causes inflammation and I’ve got an autoimmune disease. I’ve tried egg protein and it congealed together. I tried pea protein and the texture was like sand. I want good flavor, good texture, and I want it to mix well. Is it impossible?
  6. I have had zero pain. Up until today. I had surgery on the 8th so just over a week ago. I’ve lost zero weight. I’m following the diet perfectly. But today, I get a pain that’s just under my left side rib cage. Sometimes it’s on my left side where my ribs are but deeper. I heard leaks can be a complication. I’m terrified of that!

    Not feeling full?

I’m exactly 1 week post op. I do not feel full at all, ever. I catch myself gulping water and remember that I’m supposed to carefully sip. Instructions are to sip my protein shakes slowly. 1 once over 15 minutes… but why? from the moment I woke up in recovery, I had pain on my incision marks but I do not feel like my stomach is any different at All. I do follow the portion sizes for the full liquid diet, but I almost suspect that my stomach was not operated on at all. Is this normal?
  8. Let me stress that I am consuming plenty of water, exactly enough protein, and I’m following the full liquid diet to perfection. I’m using sugar free, lactose free, fat free, high protein milk for my protein shakes. I’m eating sugar free jello, and low sodium, low fat soup that is blended and strained. I’m active, up and moving around… but I’ve lost nothing. Literally, nothing. What is going on?
