Janet, Thank you for showing us all you are not just the butt kicker but some times we all have to kick your butt. Even though you had a moment of weakness at least you threw what you didn't eat away so you could move on. If you were like I was the sweet thing would have lasted way much longer before we all had the band. Hang in their girl it will get better. Laura, I am glad your dad is doing better and his creat is alot lower. Good job on passing on the cake. Does it just amaze you what resturants serve as a portion size. It is crazy

I have found if I do not log on to the site at least everyday and look at this group I stop getting them to. I hate that so i try to come on everyday and just read to catch up even if I not really posting so I do not get behind. I am the same way when it comes to eating when emtional stuff is going on. But at least you knew what was happening and were able to identify why you were or wanted to eat.

Thanks Janet I knew you would have great advice. You know I do climb stairs and park far away just the 30 mins constant of exercise i have trouble with. Thanks Peas I know I think I have to con my brain into thinking I am doing something else. B/C it is keeping me from doing it. But you are right getting dressed is the hard part We can do it!! My skin is fair to but I have a major scar from another surgery and I put Vitamin E on it and it healed nicly I have the stretrch marks though. Oh well it does not bother me as much anymore though.

Hey All, I am stuck in a funk. I have not been able to get my butt in gear to exercise in a couple weeks. I just don't feel like. What do I do. I need a kick in the butt my friends. Off the subject my son started his first day of high school today. I was okay but sad he is growing up so fast he will be driving in the next two years and High School is like the big leagues. So today he was getting on the bus and the two kids getting on in front of him jumped a kid on the bus. It turns out they were involved in gang activity and it was a rival gang fight. OMG the police came and they blocked my neighborhood and everything. My son and the other kids were fine, those kids did not have weapons. I was so shocked this happen it is so scary to raise kids this day and age you have to worry about eveyone. I guess it shows you never know who leaves by you.

He is awesome. He did my mom Bypass 8 years ago and did my Lapband in 07/08. The only issue is the long office wait I think they double book him or something. So office wait stinks but as a Dr he is awesome. -
Hey guys, Just checking in. My doctor says if I can work out 30 mins everyday there is a chance she will cut my BP meds some more she already took one away and the other two in half. I don't normally work out everyday. I used to workoutat least three times a week then I got in this funk and can't get out. My trainer friend could not work out with me and then i got lazy. Oh well all in all I am doing great!! Just got to jump back on the working out and i will feel better. So here is one of the millon dollar questions. Why is it you work out everyday for then you miss a day and that turns into two and so forth? I have not caught up on all the posts but I know there is so much going on for alot of people. Congrats to lose who have reached goals you have set for yourselves and the ones on trips be safe. For the ones dealing with sickness for yourself or family be strong you can get through this and remeber we are all here for you and this too shall pass. Remember TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME !!

Really 1 week for each stage hmmm maybe i should try that he just said 1 day liquids then slowly reintroduce foods into my diet. I swear I feel tighter at night at the moment which is crazy because it has always been the other way around. it is a little better i just had some Soup but itis sitting in my throat i think I drank to fast again(it is a mexican cheese broth soup with shredded pcs of small chicken) I think the spicey is starting to get to me now. Oh well I am still a happy camper. Charlene K, I am so excited your DH will have surgery next week.
-
Maybe you are right and I am just freaking out because I am feeling restriction which I thought I had before I guess not. I just know now I have to drink real slowly and not take big gulps and take my time eating I know I know that is what the rules where for in the beginning. LOL oh well I will hang in there and keep you posted. I think the throat thing is taking in more than I am supposed weather it is food or drink. I think with this feel I can eat a lot less which is good but now I have to pay attention more. Julie, You will be in my prayers. You hang in there and before you know it you will be back on track with your band journey.

Hey gang, So I went for my 1 year check up yesterday and my Dr said I gained 7 pounds.:smile2: I actually said what the crap what are you talking about. I keep track of my weight on the ticker website and I think I have only flucuated 3 lbs this whole time and my scale is like a pound less than his. That whould have meant that at one time I weighed 222 and I would be jumping up and down if I did. Anyways he decided or should I say we decided to give me a tiny fill basically I have 7.34 cc in my band at least I think that is right. Anyways it is really only day two and everything I eat and drink is hanging in my throat. I do not have the tightness in my chest when I am full it is all in my throat. He said 1 day of liquids which meant yesterday and i could start putting foods back in today which I am but it seems no matter what it is it just feels like it is hanging there. I am concern I have reflux cause it feels like a stinging feeling. And all my liquids make a bubbly sound going down which they didn't really before. i don't think I like this fill very much how long should I give for it to settle do you guys think? I can eat Soup and stuff so i know it is working but still.

Yeah i don't want to me on my computer 24/7 either so I think I will try to notebook thing as well. Isn't 1 1/2 cups a food at a meal alot? do you eat snacks too or just your main meals? I was just wondering I know each Dr is different but I am just curious.
