Hi, I had my surgery in April (self pay) and now my Mom is trying to, she is scheduled for 2-14-04 and has Federal Blue Cross and Blue Shield. I am wondering how you got pre approval. They keep telling me and my dr's office that they will not pre approve. Anyone have any info.

Benefits are also available for diagnostic studies and a psychological examination performed prior to the procedure to determine if the patient is a candidate for the procedure. Does this sound like they are going to pay for Lap Band after January 2007.

Well thank goodness I found ya'll this month. Maybe I was just to busy in July. I dunno what happened???!!! LOL I have missed ya'll. I'm doing very well I have lost 51 pounds. :clap2: I have had 2 fills. And this last one must be working or I must be eating to fast. I'm not sure which. I think maybe both. I work in a retail grocery store and all my customers are starting to notice!!!! I really want some good looking rich man to notice.LOL:sleep And can someone tell me what to take for my hair falling out I have long really really thick hair or should I say I HAD really really thick hair I dunno what happened. I went to meet some friends at a local club. I got there after they did and was standing at the bar getting my drink. Kinda looking around for them. I look up and see them and wave get my drink and go over. They were kinda laughing when I got there and I asked them what was so funny. My friend said well we looked at you and said is that Kristie her boyfriend said where, she said at the bar. He said where I don't see her. She said right there in the brown shirt. He said I don't think so. Thats when I turned around and waved at them. And they were like omg it is Kristie. They didn't even recognize me!!!!!!!!!! I've only lost 50 pounds but boy did that make my night and the next week!!!!! IT was WONDERFUL. I know I said only 50 pounds let me rephrase I've LOST 50 POUNDS in THREE MONTHS!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO

Exercised all last week took off sat and sun because of work back to gym this morning!! walked 2 miles on the treadmill and did several machines. I weighed today and have lost 40#. My 2 month badaversary is the 21. So thats 2 20# bags of dog food or 4 10# bags of ice. WOOOOOOHOOOO And Im bumping the treadmill up every week. And it is kickin my butt. Back to the gym tomorrow. Have a great workout everyone!!

Alison, hang in there girl it will start to come off. I'm sure you are loosing inches. Measure yourself and start keeping up with that. I measure every Sunday and have lost more than 50 inches. That is all over like 1 inch in my neck 3 inches on my arms 5 inches in my chest. Measure I bet you've lost inches. Good luck girl!!!!!

Hey guys, been going to the gym 5 days a week!!! 30 min on the treadmill for 2 miles and burning over 300 calories. And then on to the weight machines to try and tone some of this up. So I've been feeling pretty good. Down 2 more pounds in a week, more inches than I remember.

Hello April Bandits!!!!! I've been exercising my butt off literally. I went for my first fill last Monday and to my Support group this Monday and had lost 2 more pounds. So I'm down 37# wooooooooohooooo!!!!!! I don't really feel like I have very much restriction, but I'm trying to trudge along and do like I'm suppose to. Way to go april bandits!!!!!!

Well my fellow bandits I was banded on April 21 I went today and had my first fill (1.5cc) and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be at all. It was actually pretty painless. So I am back on liquids for 24 hours and then back to mushies and regular food. I'm excited I lost another 6lbs since eating regular food before fill. So that is 35lbs all together in less than 2 months. LETS GO APRIL BANDITS!!!!!!!!!
